My lighter build also weights exactly 582g with gopro session and heavy 4s 1300mAh turnigy graphene battery, but i'm using Furious 220 frame. Also, Returner R3 2207 2550kv motors. My heavier build with custom frame based on 6-inch Martian frame is 615g AUW. Same motors, ESC and FC. Difference in flight performance is massive, just because of the weight, also flight time is shorter and v-max is 20km/h less because of air drag (150km/h on lighter build with narrower arms, 130km/h on heavier with wider arms and top-mounted battery). I have GPS on both.

Now that you have your own store could you make a camera mount like that for the glide? My tarsier shakes too much with the normal tpu and the lenses have been chipped up because of no protection. I'm sure it would protect any camera better, so I think it would sell well
G'day Bob, wow nice flying and thats a great looking mini quad i know you say its a bit heavy but what size 6s would be to heavy for this one without crossing the line of power to weight, great info and thanks for all your efforts we are all better off with you in fpv.👍🛸🇦🇺

That's what this tarsier camera is like. This particular one I have for some reason is a little bit more zoomed-in than all of the others I have used I agree but in general it doesn't have a very wide field of view
Hey kabab as it looks now the EU will go to a 80gramm limit instead of the 250gr. Can you bring out a new toothpick that makes the best out of this weight? :D
@@Kabab yes seems like because the Mavic mini they will change rules. More like because Amazon paid good money for the airspace but yeah.. 1s 3inch sounds awesome
If you have a lipo bag, use it. Ammo cans work nicely too. Most any metal box for small batteries will do enough to limit a fire from spreading... but mostly avoid an instance where you can actually let those catch fire
... and I love them. Bit frustrating when I forget, but it's nice to not hit gates and watch the motor proceed to yeet the prop nut into narnia then beach itself uselessly... but better motor bell designs also fix that
It’s a beautifully built quad, I think! The electrical tape holding the CRSF antenna is a nice touch! Crisscross rubberbands even better! IF the Tarsier FPV feed is what you see flying, which it is, who cares if the HD feed is behind it? It will always be behind it if you synch the two in post, because that HD feed is buffering to the record drive, and will never be synched to the FPV feed much after take-off, but equate to the same thing when you edit your flight. Does that sound logical, or am I missing something?
KababFPV - Okay straight dump to an editing timeline, that hasn’t been edited. That tarsier HD will never synch with the FPV feed for very long after take-off, because of it’s buffer to the record source, whether that be an internal drive or to micro sd. No? My understanding of the Tarsier is it’s asplit signal, one to the direct goggle feed, and the other to a hd record feed? Well that record feed needs to buffer, so if you line those up on a timeline anbd except those to stay in synch, not happening!
@@3eggerfpv397 Everything you're saying makes sense, except when you watch the GoPro with the DVR. A completely separate optical & signal chain to a separate recording device does a better job... which is all I need to know to realize something is off
@@tehllama42 - GoPro is a self-contained record, the tarsier isn't, it's cabled to the record source, therefore you're going to get latency. Again, if the tarsier hd record isn't what you're flying to through your goggles, who cares, it going to buffer the full flight and when you play that back on your editing device, it's the entire flight. Now if you try and also synch that record up with your goggle DVR record the two will drift, but why would you want to do synch those two sources?

You need to be running 6s 1300 mah for with those motors to provide enough juice.
This 1100mah is excellent. It really dishes out the amps. Really really well
I would disagree as well. On 2507's with 7", a 1000mAh pack can push out the amps you need, and that's a much higher loading.
Hey kabab as it looks now the EU will go to a 80gramm limit instead of the 250gr. Can you bring out a new toothpick that makes the best out of this weight? :D
Wtf. Well the original toothpick is 70g auw and the new 3" 1s will be around 50g auw.
@@Kabab yes seems like because the Mavic mini they will change rules. More like because Amazon paid good money for the airspace but yeah.. 1s 3inch sounds awesome
Kababfpv iz it necessary to use lipo bag for 1s ?
Tech Virus on an airplane, yes, in your bag, no
Some say Yes. I sat no but really 🤷🏻♂️
If you have a lipo bag, use it. Ammo cans work nicely too. Most any metal box for small batteries will do enough to limit a fire from spreading... but mostly avoid an instance where you can actually let those catch fire
Frick I forgot about your patreon
Day late and a dollar short. Everything I was looking at was "Sold out" missed it.
Na. Not in stock yet on many items. Coming this week and next
nice one bro :)
cant effort.wish i have rtf quad
Damn, the R3s are my favorite of all time but I run the 2400kv ones :(
Those are what's coming.
@@Kabab the photo on your website and in the video says 2550kv though, or is that just not updated?
Every review type video:
This is the _____ ____ and... *sigh* 🤣
My 5" is 545 AUW 4s 1300
It’s eachine. I don’t think much good can be said about their products that you didn’t already note.
God I hate CCW thread stuff. All motors should be the same thread pitch.
... and I love them. Bit frustrating when I forget, but it's nice to not hit gates and watch the motor proceed to yeet the prop nut into narnia then beach itself uselessly... but better motor bell designs also fix that
I wanna make a necklace with those motors
WHAT, my comment got highlighted (I’m so proud rn) THANk u

?nice quad
It’s a beautifully built quad, I think! The electrical tape holding the CRSF antenna is a nice touch! Crisscross rubberbands even better! IF the Tarsier FPV feed is what you see flying, which it is, who cares if the HD feed is behind it? It will always be behind it if you synch the two in post, because that HD feed is buffering to the record drive, and will never be synched to the FPV feed much after take-off, but equate to the same thing when you edit your flight. Does that sound logical, or am I missing something?
Nothing is edited from any recording. These are straight dumps from the GoPro, Tarsier and goggle recorder
@@3eggerfpv397 🤷🏻♂️ everything else does
@@3eggerfpv397 Everything you're saying makes sense, except when you watch the GoPro with the DVR.
Motor was out of stock before the video so...............
Yeah they're not here yet
I bet you are sending these fellas some toothpaste.
