Cooking fried foods is not "dangerous," as some people claim. It's no more "dangerous" than driving a car or running up and down a court with nine other guys. As long as you know what the rules are, you'll be fine.
~Have everything ready to go, and then heat up your oil. Use the right temperature - if you are not sure, just get a thermometer.
~If you're nervous, fill the oil only a little (half or slightly more than half the depth of the food). This way the oil is at a lower level in the pan, but you'll have to flip your food over, since it won't be submerged.
~As you place the food into the pan, have it so it is going *away* from you. In the event of a splash (and there shouldn't be, but in case you make a mistake or suddenly sneeze), the oil will splash away from you instead of toward you.
~Time your food but also just look at it. If it is golden brown, it's done or soon will be. Don't forget bigger items or cold-in-the-middle items will take longer. Lower the heat just a little (it still needs to be very, very hot) so that the inside can get done before the outside burns.
~Use a pan that is the right size for what you'll be deep-frying. If you're frying 10 pieces of chicken, that is one type and size of pan. If you're deep-frying a couple of Scotch eggs, that is another type and size of pan.
~Be safe. Make sure your pan's handle is not sticking out as it could be knocked off or, worse, grabbed from below by a curious child, so rotate the pan so the handle is over the stove-top and not sticking out into the kitchen. Keep all dogs, cats, small kids, any kids, anyone that will distract you, out of the kitchen while you work. Don't walk away - not for anything - turn your phone off or put it outside on top of the roof.
Don't be afraid! You can do this! I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how easy frying really is, and how safe, too, so long as you respect what you're doing.

I like the part where your kid keeps saying daijoubu (sorry if spelled wrong i am dum)
Reminds me of my younger cousins repeatedly saying some stuff and it completely destroys my heart, *the cuteness destroys my heart*

I caught myself thinking about how delicious something looks or how fun it would be to cook a dish like this or that. Thank you for putting up these videos, they feel like therapy for my disordered mind 🥺❤️
