Personally I think it was good film the first 100 times I watched it. But after thoroughly watching, i personally believe it was too fast paced, and poor cgi. Like the scene where zod arrives, it looks terrible imo, I still love the movie, love the character, but there are moments that I’ve realized that were a bit low quality for such a big name studio and character. But there were also small details I loved such as a lightning bolt under Barry’s feet

I watched the movie for what it was, and enjoyed it a lot, I didn't listen to the outside nonsesne. It was a fun movie, and will definitely watch it again, I didn't watch it for Ezra, but he did a decent performance playing different roles of himself.
I definitely won't say the I liked the movie I personally was in the camp that it was just an average movie however, the camp of people who act like this movie slapped their mother and killed their dog is baffling to me. Ezra was never on the run from cops that is a lie he was actually in contact with police the whole time He had police protection because he threatened the kkk 2. It hurts me so much that the ONLY Flash story that people seen to be interested in see is the freacking Flashpoint, that is barely a Flash story and more of an ensemble DC one. Since Barry Allen came back in 2008 and Johns rewrite his backstory the Flash has been primarly a time travel/multiverse plot device instead of a real character, with Flashpoint being the only story that's adapted into a movie that focuses on him. There are many others solo Flash storys that deserved to be adapted, and most of them are the Wally West stuff, after all he is the definitive Flash in my opinion (and for most fans as well).

I also like this movie quite a bit. This is actually one of my favorite DC EU films. Yes, I completely agree with everyone that Ezra Miller is a POS. But we aren’t talking about Ezra Miller as a person. We are talking about this movie. And I’m sorry we have to keep it real, there are a lot of fans in the geek fandom these days that are now just hating movies because it’s trendy to hate movies. There were so many people that were on board to say this was a shitty movie before they ever even saw it but if you just take this movie for what it is and you leave as Hill‘s BS outside of it, this is one of the better DCU movies in my opinion. I actually think all the characters in this movie were given justice, I actually thought that, this was the most wonder woman and Batman were like they were in the comic books as far as how they acted. I remember when it first came out the people that had already made up their mind that they were going to hate this movie. The first thing they attacked was the CGI and they kept using clips from the speed force for that argument and yeah, it does look a little funny, but , I do believe them that they tried to make in the speed force. Look that way because a lot of the CGI outside of the speed force looks great. Another thing that’s going on in geek fandom that’s gotten on my nerves is just this tribalism you have one group of people that have decided anything from the Snyder verse. They are going to absolutely love and then there’s an another group that have just made up their mind that everything in the Snyder verse they’re going to hate. When it comes to people like that, I don’t take their opinions seriously because they’re just playing the team game at that point. Look the DCEU definitely had its issues. There were movies that were flat out terrible in that cinematic universe, but there were also some really great movies there and even in between ones that you can’t call great and ones that you can’t call terrible. There were some movies that you could say were good, but nothing special, and there were movies you could say that were bad, but not the worst movie you had ever seen.
I would say The Flash show fell off after Iris became the leader in season 4 but seasons 1-5 were good Also the whole run Barry run most of those scenes weren't even a pep talk lmao. I'm not giving you shit when you said it's overused but the scene where you showed Oliver telling him to run Barry run. The context of that was Oliver knew that Barry was the only one fast enough to outrun the blast which led him to going back in time to before the glass happened lol. Also don't hate on Nora she was a great character lol.
Deadass rewatched the movie two days ago and honestly it wasn't as bad as I remember. I like the movie but it's still pretty bad in so many ways. I think it's just a really memorable movie and that's what I probably like about it, that along with it being pretty silly and the awesome batman stuff.
One year later, this movie still disappoints in some aspects. First off, why did the writers decide to still focus on the black zero event from Man of Steel? General Zod has no connection to The Flash, so his presence in this movie is pretty much useless. Another thing, there's no actual Flash villains in a Flash movie, go figure. One thing that bothers me is some of the humor in this movie. Not all of it was necessary. Did we really need 3 Ezra Millers in one movie? Ezra manages to distinct himself in all three performances, but the complaint still stands. Killing Supergirl so many times & never paying it off by bringing her back to the reset timeline by the end of the movie (like in one of the endings the set photos teased) made me really mad. Let me just say some of the CGI in this movie is unbearably bad for 2023 standards. Forgot to mention, there was absolutely zero need for more multiverse shenanigans at the end. Doesn't serve anything & people are tired of it. Plus, a tasteful CGI model of a dead actor to get people to call about isn't a good thing. Didn't need those useless cameos. And the ending still sucks. But not all of the movie is a frustrating disappointment. It's just that when a company has me wait nearly a decade for a movie of one of my favorite characters, you best believe in expecting a high quality & nearly flawless film. But oh well.
Theyve revealed that reverse flash was the one who killed his mom. So how the hell does putting a can of tomatoes and having his dad at the house prevent one of the most devious speedsters of all time from killing his mom. They've diminshed the reverse flash without him even appearing in the movie 😂😂
I believe when people say they want Grant Gustin as the movie version of The Flash, they don't want him to be the exact same character as the CW one. Most people love his looks and acting but hate the ideas the CW show introduced overtime, therefore wanted to take the good things about it and do something better with it. No pep talk, no lightsabes and, of course, better budget and writing lol
I totally understand if you liked this film. It doesn't make me mad that you feel differently. If anything, my only negative reaction to your positive feelings, is a bit of jealousy. I wish I had liked this film. I desperately wanted to like this film, and I didn't. There were parts I enjoyed. Pretty much anything Supergirl or Batman. It just failed, and I was all the more saddened by the potential it showed, but never realized. I found it to be a bad film. Also, I really want to see a Michael Keaton Bruce Wayne take on a Terry McGinnis Batman Beyond. ... With a live action Mark Hamill "Return of the Joker".
I think the worst things avout this movie are two things : Barry just gives up at the end He doesn't try to save the world He just leaves and lets an entire earth get blown up. Since by the movie's rules when you change time you don't rewrite an erase it you leave it so Barry a SUPERHERO left a world to die He ends up acting mike a giant coward. - Barry doesn't learn his lesson which to me is a sin in a superhero movie if the character doesn't learn his lesson then the journey was meaningless. By decinding to change the timeline He shows that He learned NOTHING.

he saw that an alternate version of himself spent years making countless attempts to try and save that world and that it was impossible, if he didn't put a stop to the attempts to save that world then the entire multiverse would die. the issue should be that he doesn't think that his new attempt to save his dad from jail would still mean a new world. he left his dad to live in a world where that version of his dad manages to be found innocent. then again that was meant to be like a sequel hook as affleck's batman would then send a message across the multiverse to try and reach him so he'd come back to help with darksied

And has I brought up this isn't like flashpoint paradox were things just get rewritten and erased so there is no point is saving the timeline. No Barry straight up just goes to an another universe when time traveling and just gives up. And He doesn't even learn his lesson at the end.
