    This is really cool! It also looks like a Greek fort during the Peloponnese wars

    I have been debating making something like this for a while. Now having seen your video, I am wondering if any of the random trim etc. the previous owner left in my shop would work. If not, I am sure I could pick some up that would.
    As you said, good for black powder era, Viking attacks in England, Saxon migration to England, Roman era, and fantasy stuff. Take off the side walls and it can be right on the edge of the table for an ambush scenario where one side desperately needs to get to the fort, or a break out scenario, as the deffenders know they have no hope, so try to suprise the seigers with a concentrated sally and escape.

    Awesome! Having the smaller straight sections is also brilliant if you want to "destroy" a wall in a game you can simply remove that section
    you've convinced me to give it a crack, I've ordered the parts I need and will hopefully post how my own build goes attempting to copy this :)

    Cool project and simple to do it looks like. Quarter round trim or something similar would work for the banks for folks that are going to the lumber yard.

    That looks great. I've been putting off making a FIW fort as I didn't want to deal with cutting up bamboo skewers. What are the dimensions of those wooden cuticle pushers ?

    • @MrSuperchippy74
      @MrSuperchippy74  6 років тому

      Robert Chisholm these where 3 inch but I think you can get longer ones too

    I really enjoyed your presentation I think the product is excellent particularly as it doesn't cost much, I think you have understated your skill at building but also in the modular design and making best use of scratch materials. a concise presentation style too which cut straight to the chase.... (crikey that seemed a lot of praise, but for me its an an excellent useful high quality concise post what I look for in utube ...thank you for posting! Huzzah!

    I'd never heard of cuticle sticks before and can see lots of wargaming uses for them - if you cut the points off you could even build log cabins etc.
