The man-made forest is a reforestation project part of the Loboc river watershed that support the Tontonan hydroelectric dam. My grandfather was one of the forest rangers that planted and cared for the trees and the forest.
@@EoinandAisling yes it is an amazing project but with one fault, mahogany an exotic tree species and do not bear an edible fruit that made a dead forest devoid of animals and insect but few. Even birds don't nest there. Now they are slowly being replaced by endemic trees. Maybe in the next thirty or so years we will have a forest full not just of trees but of animals too.
I contacted tourism Bohol. I report to them the squatters below chocolate hills slowly increasing the tourism reply they said we already reported to the DANR but no 👎 action we will forward your massage to the main office maybe they will believe to you. I don’t know with one main office tourism or main office DANR.
Glad you had an amazing time in Bohol guys. Just don't let those Tarsiers fool you. They're actually trained in the ways of the Force. They've got their tiny Lightsabers in their pouch. 😂
T'was a joy watching your video going off the beaten path... Figuratively speaking. It's great that you got to see and experience more on this trip. Yep, it does get colder in mountainous areas like Bukidnon in Mindanao or Sagada in Northern Luzon. Those places tend to get a bit nippy, especially when the fog crawls in. Anyways, stay safe, guys! Cheers!
Yhey, my favorite couple. Been waiting for this,..I know you gonna love those Mamag (Tarsier). Suggestion: bring that bike and do a road trip on the island of Mindanao, you gonna love it. Promise. Also, don't forget to taste the mangoes of Guimaras island. Always ingat on your adventures, kids.
WoW that was wonderful experience in bohol if you see the smallest tarsier in the world and this experience one of amazing experience especially the chocolate hill and I love the Drone potage as well thanks for sharing this beautiful place in Bohol

Tarsier is existed over 45 million years ago. The species found in Bohol is a very magnificent and peculiar small animal, which makes it difficult to be spotted.

In case of flooded streets, I usually let others cross first. Either they show me where to pass or they show me where not to pass.
That would have been the smart thing to do haha
