- Mental health has been a big topic lately, been struggling a bit for the past few months. But I'm looking forward to getting on the grind again! Want to give a huge shout out to some close friends @DannyTorres, @DeezCards, @LrodriguezMedia for being supportive and giving great advice throughout this!
Had the board since January 8, filmed the video on February 15 and posting it on March 11 lmfao talk about being in my fucking head!

I think it’s good to switch it up, I’m always trying to do this as well. Not get stuck in any routine or upload schedule, and keeping it fun to make videos. I’d personally like to see progression videos from you, maybe filming like 4-5 sessions trying the same tricks, then talking through the process - just an idea. Please keep pushing for skate space Kyle!
** EDIT: Got to the end of the video, and to your point about self pressure to progress is real. Maybe you could even talk about that though, the process of expectations vs reality.
Thanks Zack! I really appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment, it means so much to me! Your comment about tre and hard flip on IG had me thinking I could potentially make some videos on those! But I really love the idea of the multiple sessions for the same trick idea! And expectations vs reality is a great one too, I can already picture tying that topic into a video getting back into vert! Much love! 🙏💞
Proud of you man!! Keep you head up high for the amazing movement you created. It's important to push away those stressors. I've felt similar when it comes down to creating those progression videos. Im looking forward to seeing the new content that you produce! You have all the support from my corner 💪🙏
Much love Austin! Thank you so much man!! 🙏💞
You got this dude! Don’t let this go! It seems difficult but keep pushing through it. I enjoy watching every video that you put out and I look forward to watching more!
Thanks Nicky! Love you man!
Great video, Kyle! I’ve been looking forward to this one. I’m glad you finally felt ready to post! I’m excited for the future of your channel :)
thank you so much danny, gotta get out of my own way like you said!! 🙏💞
Thanks for the authentic share and pushing YOUR comfort! Ram it down!!
Thank you so much for the comment Trog, it means so much! 🐏🤡⬇
Excited for this bad boi to drop!
😘
Sorry to hear about your local. Maybe the new park will open up the lens on new tricks or style.
Your channel is always honest and engaging. I appreciate your approach.
I have been hooked on the bowl all year. I have been having a great time but I have noticed engagement has dropped so maybe the viewers don't relate to the bowl videos as much.
I want to switch up the channel a little bit. More raw and in the moment. But I like narrating the videos although, very few people comment on my amazing commentary. They do like the beer reviews 🤣.
Anyway I think my point is, we all have to grow a little in our channels, but we can't lose ourselves. New people are checking out the channels everyday. Lots of opportunities to share and engage.
Stay rad Sir.
Very good points sir! Thank you for always stopping by, we'll both figure out some new groove and rock it!
You always have to do what feels right for you, I found your channel from your vert skating videos as I’m also learning vert too and there’s not an awful lot of learning vert content on UA-cam so please do keep going.
I absolutely feel what you say about regressing and getting scared if you stop for a little while but I’m sure you’ll get back into it after a couple of sessions. Looking forward to more vert videos if you get back to some 👊🏼
Thanks Neil! The vert videos are what got me into this whole thing of filming my progression and such so I would for sure love to keep it going! Like I had mentioned I did learn 50-50 grinds on vert before I stopped so i'll have that video up at some point! But I will for sure get back on the ramp, not to make excuses but it's hard to find motivation to skate it since vert is such a small scene where I live and I was generally skating it alone or with rollerbladers.
@@KyleAndersonSkates I know what you mean skating alone is not very motivating 😟 but maybe the motivation is getting the tricks?
I think vert is a sleeper right now people just don’t get it until they try it and then they get hooked. I think a lot of people might even just be afraid but as you know you can get used to it and the fear backs off a little bit the more you do it and everyone will give you kudos when they find out you can do it.
I guess I’m really lucky I’ve found the coolest vert crew and we all get together every Tuesday and it’s so much fun. Maybe try and put the word out to get a weekly session going on so you can get a crew together too there may well be people that want to learn but are afraid to skate the ramp alone too🤷🏻
I for one hope you keep at it !
Cheers 👍🏻
Neil
@@NeilHesterSkateboarding that's a great idea! I think i'm going to warm back up to the ramp before trying to get a group together but not going to rule it out! Thank you for all the love Neil!!
@@KyleAndersonSkates no problem, looking forward to seeing more from you 👊🏼
you got this dawg
WE got this!
straight razor gang forsure
cut em up
I miss skating, well longboarding anyway. I thought about buying one again and building one up
idk much about longboards but feel free to hit me up if you wanna ask about parts!!
Dude! I appreciate all the effort you and others put into your content creation, but I'm not interested in perfection, I am interested in you and your content. It doesn't matter how you present it. Just be yourself and have fun. Also, it is good to take breaks to help you assess what is good for your soul. Don't apologise for doing something that is good for your well being. Sometimes you have to take a step back to make a come back!
All the best, Rich in Sweden.
Missing my Chima Pro 2's.
ahhh thank you so much Rich!!! this comment means so much to me, I really appreciate it!! and yes, after skating these shoes for about a month now I regret not getting more Chima 2s! Those are my favorite Vans hands down!
really enjoying your videos!
I really appreciate you taking the time to leave this comment. 🥰
Love it man, keep it fun and i think youll find a nice balance for posting videos. Im still trying to do the same lol Have you skated Bamford's miniramp?
hell yeah! I gotta break out the gopro for some skate stuff, havent used it for skating since you inspired me to buy it lol.. I personally dont like the mini at bamford, that's actually the one I mentioned in this video haha, BUT it's better than nothing! kinda excited to try the new weston one and learn some more tech stuff and maybe learn switch transition tricks!
@@KyleAndersonSkates yea bamford took awhile before I actually liked skating there lol when is the weston one gonna be open?
How about you make a video on how to fs flip??
i'd have to relearn them first 😅
How did you get to be so cute? 🥺
idk about all that, but you're stuck with me 😅
and that park looks trash
skating over trash cans is fun
