Hi Phil, thanks for this exellent review. Maybe I will get a bootle from the UK direct (my nephew is in London for holidays) or I will get a bottle from my local shop here in Germany. I saw the Ardnahoe Distillery under construction while being on Islay in autumn 2017. Cheers my friend

That's an interesting question... I know their new Park Circus is essentially ancient grain with Port Ellen and Springbank. But I'll ask and see! Thank you!

Fabulous new release! I can't wait until I can access it in Canada! Reasonably priced and I am always excited for a peated Islay scotch whisky!! The Lagavulin 11 Offerman 4th edition is sure worth a try! Delicious!! I bought a case! Great video! Cheers! 🙂
Hi Phil ! Greetings from Georgia, Tbilisi ) I am member of the Whisky Club , Several members buy this whisky and are hosting a tasting . They paid about 85 euros for one bottle .Slainte !
These numbers are all still unverified by Hunter Laing. The UK first week launch was only around 5,500 bottles. But we'll see. Its such nice liquid and thats the most important part.

I've got serious "limited inaugural release" fatigue especially when distilleries are asking $140, so I've opted out. Nothing against Ardnahoe but as they say on Shark Tank........I'm Out!
I don't blame you for this, especially after the last 4 years of the whisky market. Hopefully it'll appear in a bar or a friend buys one and you can try it. But this point of view is more than reasonable.
I agree with you. This is the best new release I have tasted so far.
Between this and most Ardnamurchan, I'm in heaven.

Your recommendation was spot on. I went and bought a bottle unfortunately I didn’t have enough money to buy two that’s life.
There's enough of it to get another one at some point. Enjoy the one you got!

Now that Ardnahoe is a producing distillery, I have to come and visit it as I did when Kilchoman did. I miss Islay!

That 2/3 week wait is pretty crazy, but it'll be worth it when it arrives.
I liked this as soon as i opened it - thankfully i got 2 bottles!
