Wellington is destroyed within a matter of days, so is Palmerston North. 2 months later, flooding spreads up to Taranaki, Hawkes Bay, Bay of Plenty and Gisborne, with the entire of Lower Hutt going underwater as a result. Just a week later, Waikato gets affected, after Bay of Plenty, Gisborne and Taranaki went underwater, with half of Hawkes Bay and Manawatu under water. 2 weeks later, a mandatory evacuation is issued for all states on the North Island, not including Auckland and Northland. 4 weeks past, and more than half of the North Island. And entirety of the South Island is submerged by 70 feet of water. Auckland is now told to evacuate as 10 ft of flooding is affecting Auckland, causing Sky Tower to collapse, killing 3k. Northland is the last remaining state, eventually getting submerged by flooding, leaving nothing but debris and water.
I feel like NZ would temporaily change its capital to ethier Hamilton or Auckland so that if wellington get taken, they still have a capital. Also, in retaliation, NZ should get a South Island State to rebel from South Island. That would be cool in my opinion
