Why silly? Because you are comparing with Fire Emblem and not with Persona? This is a Persona game with Fire Emblem elements, not the other way around.
I apologize for replying to this old comment but I can give a flimsy but sensible explanation. The focus of the game are the Archanea characters, therefore: Marth, Caeda, Cain. But it’s flimsy, because stupid Tharja and Virion are in this game which throws my theory out. XD But yeah, I always hated that in this game.
Because they get the more attention overall in the game. Hell, in the new side quest from Encore, only Itsuki, Tsubasa and Kirira appear in the cutscenes.
This part right here was amazing pay-off for an already wonderful game! I will admit it got monotonous at times, with needing enemy parts for your weapons and having to grind for them, but IMHO, this was an outstanding game blending a classic series with a different playstyle.
By the way Tiki is my favorite mascot in the Persona and spin offs saga. Even more than Mona and Teddy. She’s just the cutest thing ever, I wish she joined the battle as a main member like other mascots do.
Itsuki can sing... why didn't he and Touma get any live songs?? 😞😞😡 I would have loved to see them just sing their hearts out, not to mention we only have one male doing all the singing which to me wasn't fair. But that's just my thought.
IMO, I'm fine with no Itsuki songs. Would have liked to see more for Touma, maybe a theme song for his hero, Masqueraider Ouma, but for Itsuki doing nothing was perfectly fine. While it took aeons to get to it, the teasing we get throughout the game to Itsuki's Performance, with his training episodes and eventually working his way up despite his lack of innate talent which the others have, made the impact of the Opera of Light so much stronger when we finally got to see him Perform as the lead. What I really hoped for though, was if the Opera of Light to have one more set of verses to include our other protagonists, make it the song for the whole team with Itsuki acting as the central singer that ties each of the parts together, rather than having excluded the others in favour of Touma/Tsubasa/Kiria. Maybe they could have included a second version which does the above, that only gets unlocked if you are on the True Ending route.
i feel like they rep maybe linde and merric. you needed merric for the final battle, and i believe linde was a required unit there too? i can't recall.

I was actually disappointed by this, not because it's cringe, but because there's too little! They are basically standing on an elevator for 40 seconds of singing while trying to dance without actually moving from their spot, and the first 4 characters overshadow everyone else. They could've had some more interesting choreography. Though I guess there wasn't much action in the other cinematics either.

Despite how silly and ridiculous this was, I love this song... Guilty pleasure after finally beating the game I guess.
I also love that the English lyrics almost match up perfectly, syllable-wise.

I believe Maiko would be Princess Nyna, as for Barry, I'm no sure.
