I guess it would be rather hard to pronounce the “sce” and “sci” as “s-chay” and “s-chee” respectively. That might be why the soft “c” (literally called “sweet c” in Italian) blends in with the “s.” Old English had that same idea with words that now have a “sh” in Modern English.
@@teacherstefano My feed started to be flooded by your videos, you have interesting content on the channel so keep up the good work! If i may, i would like to give you a suggestion to spice things up: You do videos about italian culture (i've seen the sanremo one) so why don't you pick up on this theme and start to talk about italian music? There are a LOT of listeners of italian music all around the world that are motivated to learn italian thanks to their ammiration for bands and singers (il Volo and Maneskin have a huge international fanbase for example) So, if you would like to expand your grip on a vast audience (that might be motivated to learn italian thanks to songs and singers) you might consider talking about some relevant modern italian music... A video about this could make you reach more people! 🎶🎼🎤🎵 Tags are also important! 😉 #ilvolo #måneskin #elisa #bocelli #giannanannini #italianmusic 😸🎵🎤🎶🎼🎸🎹🎻🥁🎺🎧🎤 Have a nice day!
@@teacherstefanobut doesn’t sci make the same sound as the English word “she”? With sciarpa it’s more like “sharp” I don’t hear the “she”. I thought it would be pronounced like “she-arpa” instead of “sharpa”
Ciao Stefano, è sempre un piacere di avere un nuovo video da te; molto chiaro e utile

Also, i realized just while writing a comment, that the word CAPISCO has a hard sound!
See, i learn fast!!
Very helpful! Thanks.
About the pronunciation practice...

I teach spanish in this same way, but I don't know where to study for learning to do so.
2:43 SCALE means stairs, not scarf🎵 (scarf would be sciarpa) 🎵
I haven’t noticed that mistake! Thank you for pointing that out :)

thank you for this video it's really helpful.

4/4 👌😁
Bravissima!! 💪🏻
Hi , how would you write the word that sound like " Shaw , Shot , Shawl " etc. Thnx
حبيبي جبتها صح
Maybe I missed something but why do we pronounce it "MaskIo" and not "MasKO"?
And so there is no "SHA, SHO, SHU" sound? Just "SKA,SKO,SKU"?
Why is the “i” sound present in sciare but not in sciarpa?
It is present! If you didn’t have the “i” in sciarpa you would read it as “skarpa” that means shoe :)
