How do you use more than one conversion factor? Here, we'll learn how to combine multiple conversion factors into a row so that you can convert units in more than one step using the factor label method or dimensional analysis.
this channel is saving my life. I have gotten the worst chemistry teacher EVER this year, and thanks to you I get everything. so happy I found this.
me too
LOL ME TOOOO
same!!!!! May god bless you Tyler!
Fax
Yoooo.. he breaks it down so well
BINGO!!! Found my UA-cam Chemistry guy. I had one for A/P I and II. Found one that I think will do for Microbiology. And now you for Chemistry!!
Thanks... you did for me within less than 2 videos what years of other teachers weren't able to teach (or make sense to me). My hat's off to you, sir!!
Same! Who did you find for Microbiology? I'm still looking
Jesse Leyva .. well.. biology professor for beginning lessons.. but so far i haven't found one who is as fully comprehensive as the A/P (Wendy Riggs)... but Taylor and Biology Professor are helping.
Oh alright. Thank you
late to the party but who did you find for A&P II??
Kalle S crash course
Seeing comments from years ago thanking you for your help, you help kids year after year, thanks
I know theres that one kid reading this a year or months after I posted this.
That kid is me
@@sajsundaram537 same
i am reading a year later
Yup.
Two years later and he’s still the man!!!
I wish you taught my chemistry class.
I think he simplifies WAY too much. I guess that's what people need on here
@@dxnnys and isn't that better than way too much complicating?
On your tablespoon conversion into liters. Your write out equation to get the answer show a 12. Where did you get the 12? Or was it meant to be 16?
confused at that as well. I get everything but that 12... and were it comes from
@@dawnapitzer1365 it was an error , supposed to be 16
Me as well lol
i'm glad UA-cam exists and people upload these types of videos. thanks :D
Tyler, I'm an a adult returning to school after MANY years away. Your videos are getting me through this! Thank you, I'm so glad I found your channel.
I am a sophomore in high school doing dual credit chemistry and this literally has saved my butt
You are a life saver!!!! I have already used so many of your videos this semester for Chem 111. Idk what your career plans are but you make a great teacher, and you dont leave out the "dumb" stuff and leave people behind!!!!
This was perfect. I actually understood what you said and how to do the problems. My chemistry teacher did such a horrible job at explaining this today, and still expects us to have a test on it tomorrow. But thanks to this video, I won't fail!
How did u do on the test
Tyler I'm sure you've never heard". YOU'RE AMAZING" Thank you so much. You're my "real" chemistry teacher. My college owes you $$$
Where did u get 12??
Michael Rodriguez The 12 is a mistake. It should be a 16.
callate
Martha Lozano why so mad?
I just finished watching this video that was posted six years ago.
I figured the 12 was a mistake.
Thank you for the video.
Have a good day/night.
I love your videos. I felt so lost in chem class till I found your channel. I wish you were my professor! I appreciate you going step by step and helping students. I will definitely recommend you to others. Thank you, Tyler!
I had to watch this for class, and you explained great! To all the students who want to finish the video faster, but still learn the concept, I recommend watching at 1.25 speed.
This guy has to be one of the most appreciated guys in history
I was having a very difficult time understanding these kinds of problems in my class and I have an exam tomorrow. Luckily, youtube exist and your videos came up first on the list. You are a life saver. Was seeing these kinds of problems difficult to understand but practice does make a difference and once again thank you sir.
You're right! Thanks for pointing that out.
Oh my gosh you made my life so much easier. I literally spent the past 4 hrs trying to understand unit conversions the way my professor taught my class, but you just made it so easy to understand in 10 mins of a youtube video! Thank you so much for explaining this! Now I know I will ace this quiz tmrw!
Ive seen tons of videos for unit conversions and yours is the only one i've actually understood! you're great!!!
Wow! I had been trying to understand this for several days and all of a sudden this video helped me get the hang of how to do this kind of work almost instantly! Thank you for taking the time to make this video.
Third day of class my professor said we have a quiz on Conversions next week & she never once went over it in class . Found your youtube videos figure out how to do the worksheets she gave us & hopefully I ace the quiz!! Thank you so much!!!
You are a life saver
YOU MUST BE THE BEST TEACHER ALIVE. I am taking an online chemistry class this semester, so i know it is going to be difficult. I am trying to finish up my Nursing pre-reqs, and really had no choice. My teacher had your videos linked to her class, and i will continue watching them. thanks so much .God bless ya
Thank you so much! I'm taking prep to general chemistry. And the way the teacher explained this hurt my brain..... I was not getting it. But I understood the way you explained it perfectly! You are a life saver!
my new chem teacher just started handing out worksheets with density conversions then going back to his desk and just sitting there playing games on his phone. Thank you for this !!! It's so much more understandable now
Thanks Tyler! This conversion table makes so much more sense!
You are the best at teaching. you got me through my high school and even now during my first year i find your work really amazing! Keep making the change
LOVED this stuff! Was a little error-prone in high school but when I studied pharm. tech 40 years later and had to calculate i.v. drip ratios, and compounding ratios, etc., it was child's play for me compared to the technique in the text book.
Helped me A ton! Thank You!
I cannot understand my lecture, but you make it easy to understand. Thanks a lot!
me to ❤
Thank you so much for helping me! I watched about ten of your videos, and they all make perfect sense. I understand it now, and I'm happy about that. Thanks! :)
you are the best chemistry teacher ever.
easy to follow and awesome
Great Job with these videos Tyler! You make it very easy to understand this information. Thank you very much!
Great job explaining. I was looking up factor-label since it has been so long that I have used it.
thank you sooooooo much!!! I am using this for my Intro to Forensic Investigation course and needed help with conversions but on multiple levels. Amazing! You made it so easy
I like the way you set it up and cancel as you go. Thanks!
Im glad i found this channel. Thanks for the info! You make it so easy to understand.
Good evening, Taylor,
Thank you SO MUCH for your videos! How I wish I would've come across them at the beginning of my semester. Your teaching style is amazing. Is there any possibilty of you making videos focused on Mathematics, especially Pre Calculus, Calculus, etc.?
- Stephanie :)
You have helped me so much. Thanks for making Chemistry understandable.
thank you bro, online school is literally making me want to cry lol
Great way of teaching. I can feel your energy and passion for chemistry.
Thankyou
just wanna say ty these videos, the teaching style is great aswell!
Tyler, your videos are awesome! they're extremely detailed and you go step by step to make sure we understand everything. i only have one question though, on most chemistry tests they will not give you the "breakdown" of what converts to what. like in the example of "what is 350 tablespoons in Liters?", most tests will not tell us that "1 cup = 16 tbsp" or that 1 gallon is equal to 3.785 L. I would have NEVER thought to think about how many tbsp are in a cup, which is very frustrating because it seems impossible to remember all these conversions... do you have any advice on what to think about when trying to break down these problems? thanks!
Wonderful explanation, I understand now. Thank you.
You explain this A LOT than my teacher! Didn’t get dimensional analysis until I watched your videos
Thank you for this great video! You helped me with a topic I've been having trouble with for days.
This is great! I actually understand how to do this thanks to you. My current professor isn't great at explaining. Thank you so much for doing these videos!
great question. here are two videos that will help answer it: "significant figures with counting numbers" and "using significant figures practice problems (1.9)"
I'm refreshing for a Water Treatment exam and this series has been very helpful! Using tic-tac-toe style brackets is much easier than fractions with multiplication signs. Great work Tyler, thank you!
when your desired unit is in the top right, you're done !
You are saving me dude! Exams for me are next week and I have Been watching your videos non stop!
You are such a great teacher. Thank you.
This was so helpful! Very appreciative for excellent instructional videos such as this one!
Great way to explain things! really appreciate you putting out videos to help others! Thank You once again!
THANK YOU SO MUCH I had a very hard time understanding my algebra 1 lesson and this helped A LOT
OMG!! How do someone hire an instructor who has no clue how to teach Chemistry.... I mean really. This class is vital to me, especially when I need to know this material for Medical School.......Thank You Tyler, I've watched your video and self taught myself Chemistry, now I'm passing every exam and this class!!
Thank you so much!!! You are great!!! This helped me a LOT!!! Because of you I know I will pass my exam next week!!! thank you ....!!!!
You just made my life easier.Thank You so much and I am sure I be watching alot of your videos that related to Chemistry that are very easy to understand.🖒🖒👏
Was just about to withdraw from Chemistry. you were my last ditch effort. Thank you so much you made it all fall into place, with just one video. My professor is an egotistical windbag!
I got a crappy teacher as well. Dropped the class a year ago. Taking it again. Ended up with the same teacher. So UA-cam will be teaching me this semester.
THANK U SO MUCH OMG I WAS ALWAYS SCARED OF CONVERION FACTORS BUT NOW YOU MADE ME UNDERSTAND IT
My chemistry teacher does not do near the amount of explaining you do, we just dived into this a week ago, we didn't really have one good lesson on it, this whole week felt so fuckin rushed. And we're already having a test on it tommorow. This video tho, has made the process a bit more clearer and easier for me, hopefully I will be able to remember this come class time and put it to work, thanks!
Hey everyone, I'm here to help. If you have any questions or just want to learn more, click on the link in the description above. It'll take you to a page where you can ask me questions.

I hope you are a teacher. You are the best by far!!
Thank you so much. Used your videos on unit conversion for my Algebra 1 class!
Thanks a lot! It took a while for me to understand this
can you do a video of diving different units of measurements?
Sir Tyler....You are The Man! Many thanks your Grace, for this upload...
THAT DESERVES A BIG FAT THUMBS UP
AND A NEW SUBSCRIBER!
where can i find a chart with the converison factors???
You Rock!! After pulling my hair out for an hour trying to figure out the answer.. I finally did it because of your video!! THANK YOU!!
thx for the tips, trying to do the chemistry work book for dummies for the summer :)
THIS VIDEO SAVED MY LIFE THANK YOU SO MUCH

yay i finally understand!!!! you're THE BEST at explaining! THANK YOU TYLER
what do you do when the star putting in stuff like per hour or per centimeters squared?????
Awesome explanation!
You sir are getting me through Physics!
This helps a lot. I have my algebra regents tomorrow so now I know how to do this if it's in there. Thanks
Thank you this is all great info. I am lost on where this 12 came from. All the other conversions no number has changed. Why this one?
Gosh I felt stupid watching your video, you made me realize that it's just so simple. Thanks a lot :)
This man Saving life again.
This just saved me, my teacher explained in it such a complicated way. I learned this in 10 minutes from watching a UA-cam video.
Tyler AGAIN thank you so much!!!
Awesome and very descriptive 🙌🏼
Great video. I like your teaching method.
Thank you so much. You make this so simple.
You saved my life. Thank you so much sir!
could you do a dimensional analysis with the canadian system
I like the double camera setup!
Thanks so much because I'm a sophomore taking chemistry and this is so complicated and my teacher doesn't do a good job as you do thanks for helping me understand this
Thank you SOO much!! That was super helpful! :)👍
