Great watch through. Also agree that this game is creative, but...🤯 The only details i completely dislike is the pause button playing section and excessive star power precision. Instead of investing time to make a faster tas, i would prefer energy invested to get world record in smb3 speedrunner edition. Play whatever makes you happy of course, love your dedication 🐸👍

It couldnt be Kaizo Mario 3-2 because Kaizo Mario 3-2=1 so it would be Kaizo Mario 1, of course not to be confused with Kaizo Mario, which has no number after it.
A little hard on this hack I think. It was definitely intended for RTA play. Definitely on the harder side of kaizo smb3 hacks though. Doesn't look like I saved any highlights, but I played through it blind last year. From my splits it looks like my blind time was 28:46:02 (not single segment, save states between stages to save progress between sessions). Definitely a few troll spots and blind things, but overall it is a good hack. I don't think any of those whip-grabs are required. I recall that one frog suit star power in that castle stage being as tight as it looks though, pretty crazy
This rom hack is kind of weird. Some of these levels look easy, some look TAS only. You end up with a fairly unimpressive TAS in a game that isn't practical to RTA. Maybe RTA with save states was the intended way to play this game.
Thats probably the intended way to play a lot of these minus TAS, i cant imagine anyone playing through the same level over and over the whole way through

Yes. The frog suit maximum speed is 41, whereas the swim speed is only 32. The frog suit changes direction instantly underwater.
