- Tom Massie tours the historic mining district of Fairplay Colorado, also known as South Park... Yes, that South Park. Things get a little risky as he climbs down more than 100 feet into the depths of the Phoenix Mine. He also tours the famous Argo Mine, visits Central City, then heads up near LDMA's Leadville property to do some freezing cold dredging for gold. This show features the exploration of gold mines. Never enter any abandoned gold mine.
Sunday nights on the Outdoor Channel was my weekly addiction. Gold Fever is missed..
1,000,000%! 👍👍👍
I so miss watching the shows. I went to several Gold and Treasure shows when they came to NC ….once in Concord …and once in Asheville years ago. I took my daughter, and Tom was a great person, and treated her like a child of his own. He signed her pink gold pan , that she has always cherished. He never treated anyone like a stranger, and my 7 yrs old daughter really loved that!
I miss Gold Fever
It brings back so many memories, everyone should have a Tom Massie clone on their prospecting trips
I loved Gold Fever. Really need to bring it back
I sure miss these shows. So sad the Massie's are no longer involved with, or producing them. So many fond memories of what once was...
To the person responsible for uploading these Gold Fever episodes, THANK YOU IMMENSELY! My soul needed this. Serious shit.
Yall for real need to bring this show back
Please oh please upload older episodes of Gold Fever!!...I absolutely loved the show and watched it for 20 years!...I would die just to see some original episodes from the late 90's early 2000's..
Buzzard got me hooked on prospecting on the 30 min shows over 30 years ago. Great seeing you back in the public eye
Tom I would have stayed on that hole till I had no food for at least two days lol. Good to see you on you tube. I can still sing the gold fever song. Thanks for all the memories glad your still going after the yellow gold
Tom, nice seeing you and Cindy.
Really miss you on the Outdoor Channel.
Glad to see that you are all doing well.
I love seeing you on Massey Adventures!.
Nice video.
Have a great weekend. 👍
Met Tom Massie at on of the GPAA Gold shows in Phoenix az. I couldn't help but notice as my turn in line got closer and closer. He treats everyone like a friend, even if it's his first time meeting you. One of the nicest guys I've ever met and I'm 54.
Thank you for rearing Tom's gold shows it's been awhile I Hughes to enjoy watching all of these thanks for bringing them back I have watched a couple miss Tom he was so very informative
Been a while, the massie family. My grand parents got me the buzzard deal, gold pan, patches, siphon bottle. The big sandy river in kentucky treated me right as a child.
Oh yeah! Keep the old episodes coming! 👍👍👍
OMFG! I miss this show soooooo much!!!!!
Hell yeah! 👍👍👍
I throughly enjoyed the show, you have the love of adventure and gold fever that is highly contagious my friend! Thank you for sharing your story, I know exactly where I’m going on vacation this year 🎉
This episode is about 16 years old. Tom is the son of the founder of the GPAA and Outdoor Channel.
This is the first gold show I watched. Had the pleasure to meet the buzzard at Stanton az. Very nice guy. Miss the show
My kids still sing the gold fever song. Gold Gold Gold fe fi fi fi.
My daughter used to make me replay it 20 times or so before I could watch the episode.
😂😂 I thought I was the only one that spelled it that way too lol
I had no idea that John Malkovich is no longer an actor and now leading mining tours in central CO! WOW :) Love this episode!
I miss the intro song as well! I packed in my job and made up my mind, to spend my life looking for gold…
I used to live in Rollinsville,CO in my younger days. About 6 miles down the road from Blackhawk/central city. Always wondered what it was like in those mines! Now I love in AZ and have been doing some gold hunting out here. Great vid!
I wish you guys would upload more of the full shows... Maybe even dig up some of the OG Buzzard shows to allow us older guys remember our youth
Agreed!
Should have checked out the Hidee Gold Mine Tours, Central City, Colorado. It has extremely high grade gold.
I blew everybody away on our tour with my dowsing gold inside the Hidee Mine. Plan on going back and make UA-cam videos dowsing gold inside and outside of Hidee Gold Mine.
Gold fever is the best!!
I also would love to see that multi part series you titled Alaskan..
🏕⛰️ Thanks for Great Show Tom ❤🌝 Golden Dreams

I remember swapping cable providers because mine didn't have the Outdoor Channel
Me too! Ha ha!
There is a gpaa claim near Idaho springs
Missed you so much glad to see your health love the show ❤ xoxo keep them coming would love to mine with you for okd time sake
Very cool video makes me want to take a trip to Colorado
That looked like a piece of crystalline gold in your pan Tom.. Was I seeing things?
Its really sad folks...Cripple river mining camp is abandoned!...Tom massie has no affiliation with the GPAA...I am just heartbroken!.The GPAA no longer parades down fron street in Nome on their ATV's!
WOW, I wondered why I haven't seen him in the few new GPAA videos I have watched. Was this another Coast to Cost situation?
He sold GPAA to someone named Brandon around 2018 and has been quietly living on the proceeds. Every Christmas, he donates 25 to 30k in scholarships to the Bering Straight Native Association, and that's all I could find on the guy.
Damn shame too…. Tom’s got the best personality and is great teacher. Super charismatic dude, definitely wasn’t afraid of the camera. He is a ton like his dad. Maybe someone fell ill and he decided to wrap it up to stay close to that person. Maybe they saw the way our country is going and decided to move back where Cindi is from. Either way, it’s a loss to the world, to not be able to go along with Tom and his family along their adventures.
Where were you dredging???
Why not put a SCREEN on the end of the nozzle?
Sounds like they're stealing the miners assets.
Gold gold gold gold gold gold fe va va va va
This wealth paid for WE1 and WW2! Along with making a lot of people rich!
The miners who mined that gold for those English investors were practically slaves. They didn’t make anywhere near enough to get ahead in life.
The story of 98% of miners ever..
Mother nature....how about God almighty!
FIRSTTTT
Damm music can't watch thumbs down
