I remember being the only audience member for their stop in Hattiesburg, MS, roughly 20 years ago. Even though I was the only one watching, they played an entire set for me and just blew me away. They were broke and needed gas money to get to their next stop. I bought a t-shirt, a vinyl single (Gloria and Parking Lot) and would have bought a CD, but they either didn't have any yet, or they didn't have any with them; I can't recall. I also gave them all the cash I had on me so they could buy gas. (20 dollars or so?) In the end, I feel like I got a bargain.
ThinkImBasedGod Very much real. I had seen Sunny Day Real Estate in New Orleans on the Diary tour a couple of years prior, and the crowd wasn't much better. Jeremy even said they'd come play my town sometime when I asked. They broke up before that could happen. That "emo" style took a while to catch on in the southeast.
I hope this band knows and realizes the impact they've had on millions of people. I discovered them in 1994 and I've been listening to them for almost 30 years. Thank you Mineral for great music!
He is now playing more indie style music in ATX, under the name of Mountaintime. They have a new record coming out in October. You can still hear the same emotion in his music. A little less loud definitely.
I discovered them last year when I was 16 and they easily skyrocketed to being one of my favorite bands. They’re also a major influence on any music I write myself.
Emo bands of the 90's are very underrated. Texas is the Reason, sunny day real estate, cap'n jazz, braid, the promise ring, the get up kids, american football, jimmy eat world, jawbreaker and including this band.
I'll never forget the Cleveland show.. Me and my best friend literally cried our eyes out in the front row singing to Parking Lot and Gloria. Still the best show i've ever been to in my life.
It sucked. I traveled halfway around the world for this show and ended up crushed and overwhelmed. This was fairly late in the day too after a whole weekend of shows. Almost ruined the experience.
It didn't suck buying vinyl as someone who grew up in hardcore I had a record player and stacks of 7inches what sucjed was spending 10 bucks for a record I already had 2 copies of on cd

thank you Mineral for the music. A real music. -filipino blood
I’m not crying
You’re crying
Mineral's music makes me feel like my heart is tightening, rather than making me cry.
I still loving
I wanted to see it live, even if it's just once 😃
Melhor banda ! Go 🇧🇷
love from japan.
They are heading to Japan in March 2019
favorite emo band. wish I would have been able to see them live. their music helped me get through some rough times
This is so beautiful
THE POOR FRONT ROW WHEN GLORIA GOT PLAYED LOL
This is why you should have mosh pits. It’s so the front row is full of energy, not full of a big ol thang up their fanny.

And loads of more underground/ under appreciated bands like evergreen, plunger, everyone asked about you etc ...
It's funny, all the underrated bands were/are the ones that influence the most
@@youarethebluestlight Yeah it kinda sucks too. Maybe they wanted to stay in underground scene, don't want to blow up in mainstream.

Five, Eight and Ten was the first song i heard from them a long time ago. It was like i understood music all of a sudden.
Is it so much to ask to want to be more 'Than that look in your eyes"?
This is amazing, thank you for sharing such a great video!
I’m looking forward to seeing them in Kyoto, japan 3/22 2019!
Ахуенно, 12/10, топ. Я тупо улыбался в экран на всем протяжении видео

Esperándolos en Argentina
I want to fight the bloke on his phone.
Can't watch this video without thinking how uncomfortable was the people in front of the stage. I mean look when Gloria starts playing...
It sucked. I traveled halfway around the world for this show and ended up crushed and overwhelmed. This was fairly late in the day too after a whole weekend of shows. Almost ruined the experience.
Everyone should’ve been stagediving
This is so fuckin cool
Gloria is probably my favorite song of all time. But dude, getting pushed forward the whole show must have sucked for the people in the front
for sure hahahaha
It suuuuuuucked

Those poor people at the front. So great... yet so awful.
You know what sucked.. you had to buy the vinyl to get the lyrics
