Perfection - 2 cameras take the lesson presentation to another level!

I really enjoy the experimenting you're doing with these videos. A lot of fun and lots to learn. Really well done.
In case you're looking for even more ideas, my favorite angle on fencing replays is way up above from one side of the strip. Somehow the line they're in becomes much clearer.
PS: it's always beautiful to see when students are relaxed enough to have fun and do some quality photo bombing!!

My friend, I did most of these videos in between Covid lockdowns...now I have 60 lessons a week and bunch of other outreach group fencing classes. Plus I gotta actually manage some of our staff soooooo...Simply put I dont have time to edit and post...

What can be the benefit of French Grip, and can you tell how good it is to play with it? Coach

Benefit is that you have less arsenal and therefore you will improve at few things quicker...but really it's not the grip that matters, it's the person using the grip that matters...you can fence with french gently or hard like pistol gripper too.

@@HowtoFencingbyYarikandTim how exactly does french grip limit your arsenal? I'm genuinly interesed

@@Druid_Ignacy there are certain actions with pistol that will be inherently easier to execute due to shorter blade. So anything involving large amplitude at the tip will be easier with pistol than with French. French grips' longer blade in essence tells you that you should focus on accuracy with small movements thus it would be smart to "limit" your arsenal. But in theory you can do anything with any weapon, just may require different levels of effort.

@@HowtoFencingbyYarikandTim wow, I didn't expected this reason! That makes a lot of sense. Do you know french grippers who adjust their grip (meaning: switch way of holding the sword) during combat when a certain situation happens (let's say - close combat)? Is it something you would advise or contrary?
