Before Legend of Zelda, there was Tower of Druaga. This arcade, though hard as hell, was revolutionary for its time. I strongly recommend using a guide to not get lost. I remember beating this on PS1's Namco Museum Vol. 3. Believe me, the moment when Druaga himself appears in person (1:06:16) is epic. That 8-armed monster is a beast.
I remember playing this on Namco Museum Vol. 3. Took a while to get the treasures, and a few tries to beat Druaga too. Thanks for the nostalgia throwback!
If i remember correctly, In the PS1 port of "Namco Museum Vol. 3" version, there was a "No Jet Boots Clear" achievement for a real hardcore challenge. i've never bothered to even dare to attempt that challenge!! LOL

I loved this game on Namco Museum. Especially when it told you how to get all those hidden treasures
It’s amazing that it’s one of the few arcade games you can beat, as most are trying to get the high score.
Are you serious? This game was impossible to complete without a guide.
@@saporob Yeah, even with knowing how it works for the most part it can be HARD.
@@saporobhe didn't mean the difficulty, he brought up the possibility of beating it instead of just infinitely playing it for the score
Gill and Valkyries is the first hero characters of Namco before Tales series was born
Happy 40th Anniversary, Tower Of Druaga!!
This was one of the Namco games from the app that’s why I discovered how much I love videogames
This game is awesome, really like the soundtrack in particular. The theme that plays when a dragon is on the floor gets your adrenaline pumping.
Wow I still remember and love and actually even play this game XD
The regular moving speed is god-awful slow. Winged shoes definitively needed to even try to beat the game...
How to Beat Tower of Druaga
1. Get the Boots
2. Get the Boots
3. GET THE BOOTS!

I saw videos of those other two quests before. Quite challenging though.

Can someone do a Longplay of the adventure mode of Dig Dug on Game Boy, New Dig Dug that is?
No wonder he dies in one hit. The noob's wearing gold armor!

It's a little slow.
And they say dark souls is hard, it's nothing compared to this, 80's and 90's games were insane
I hate how this game has random death trap chests in some of the levels
And some of the bad chest items too.
The Potion of Death for example.
This game rules haha

I always hated this game. The levels are way too long and the game takes forever to beat.
For me I think it’s not the worst game I’ve played before, just only finding the correct items.
In general, it’s a decent game.
There are far worse alternatives but yeah the design aged like milk
Boy that's asinine.
