I have gone through 3-4 fuzz pedals and finally got my hands on this Fuzz Bender and have to say it's my favorite Fuzz pedal so far. Great playing there Pete 👍

The blue Suhr is quite nice as well, digging the new headstock design.

Like a mouthful of pickles, it gets squishy, and then muffled . Thanks for voicing your version of a demo on this one. For now i'm trying to budget for a fuzz pedal that is in fact fuzzy and not just an overdrive boost sound. This one sounds like a great choice. #keepitsmooth

I picked one of these up and it is a great fuzz pedal. Lots of control.... smooth it out or add the velcroness as needed. Thin it up some or make it fat and gnarly. It is so fun and useful.

Man, that is just nasty. Fuzz is so cool, but I’ve never really found it applicable to what I do. But maybe it’s time to rethink that? Great stuff, Pete.
The bass part sounded especially awesome. Too bad I've never been able to convince any bass player they sound better with a pick. The proof is right there.
Our bassist uses a 5 string fretless with no pick and it sounds godawful. He doesn't understand TONE!
YES!!!! While it might sound good using the finger style method while using a pedal such as the Morley Fuzz-Wah pedal or for a way more simpler way of putting it, Cliff Burton’s anesthesia distortion tone.

You get way more control with fingerstyle. The attack with a pick is a plus on certain styles, you can dial it in with just the right settings sometimes. I think being versatile is key to being a musician. That being said, most guitarists can't play finger style which really limits things especially on acoustic guitar. Swiss army knife is the model every musician should aim for. Play multiple instruments.

I just got one can't figure if it is defective. It ducks in and out no matter how I play or place it. Strat to fender amp. Other pedals all working great. New to fuzz - are they supposed to duck (or gate?) or did I get a bad unit?

i LOVE the new suhr headstocks (at least i'm hoping that's where they're going with it). started seeing them on the thornley models and now this classic, i'm not so much a fan of the old kramer style chicken head style headstocks (but definitely not a deal killer). very cool guitar!

Playing this pedal feels different than most fuzzes. It's very gated even with the bias turned far left. You really have to adjust your playing to play thought this.

Looking to get some great clean Jimi type tones you spoke of as well as some nice grit when needed.
I have the Helix but from all I've read, the Fuzz in there does not do such a great job of cleaning up and getting that effect.

I watched a video about this pedal on another yt channel, a big channel, btw, and the pedal sounded like garbage. So this proves the importance of someone that knows how to use the gear. Great demo, great sounds, Pete. Cheers from Brazil!
Fuzz basically “blows up” the sound, of whatever you are plugged into. So the core base tone- amp, speaker choice etc has a huge effect on the sound. It’s all open to interpretation/the individual users choices... glad you liked the tones I was able to get!
