The best thing about Chappelles comedy back in the day was that he dove head first into racism and hit it from all angles and most importantly, made it funny. I'm white, and to this day its the funniest skit show ive ever seen. Dude is a legend.

I say this out of love for every one on the planet.... We are the HUMAN RACE. Are there many different skin colors and varying shades (amount) of pigment within each color?? YES!! .... Are there many different ethnicities, religions, cultures etc?? YES.... but when it comes right down to it.... we are all the same under our skin and we all live, love, laugh, hurt, cry, bleed the same and need the same exact things to survive..... this was hysterical and on point!! Hopefully there will come a day when everyone realizes we all want and need the same basic things and treat each other according to character instead of color. Great reaction Leo!!! I loved that! I grew up a hard working farm girl from the midwest, but moved to New Orleans to start my teaching career just because I wanted to !!! It’s a world of its own. Like another country almost!
I would HIGHLY recommend you visit The Big Easy though if you want a taste of life the south, there is nowhere like it! There’s a PARTY every day of the week, and for every event even funerals!! New Orleans is amazing. Didn’t want to stay forever but my four years there mean I will always miss it a bit :).

I just drove from Alabama to Illinois yesterday and took a "recommended" route from my fucking GPS that put me on a 2 lane highway through Mississippi for 4 hours! First off it is by far the poorest state I've ever seen but it is COUNTRY!!! I swear to God I passed 4 pickup trucks in succession the first 2 both had kennels with dogs in the bed, the 3rd had a fucking baby cow and the 4th was filled with watermelons. I pulled off the highway twice to piss and smoke a cigarette and my wife was terrified especially when I decided to drive down a country road for 20 minutes in the exact area that "Mississippi burning" was based off of. I'm white and was nervous 😓

Dave has been doing standup since he was about 14 years old, which is kinda whack in it's own right. But no, most of his shit is pretty off of the top of his head. This is why the man is famous (infamous) for doing like 4 and 5 hour sets just off of the cuff.
