It’s like gambling, as soon as you hit big, you immediately get out.
It's not like, it is gambling... You can win big or lose it all, in a heartbeat, and you have zero control over the actual outcome.
You should treat the money that you invest the same way you'd treat gambling money, basically gone already, but you definitely shouldn't treat investing like gambling because you lose your money even faster than you would in a casino while calm and well reasoned actions can make you a lot of money.
@@363.2McMasters that is literally gambling

@@CoachJohnMcGuirk if you're spending 12 hours a day on minimum you might as well pick up a trade and double that wage with 8 hour workdays to boot.

Bruh there was this news article of this one guy that had invested in Bitcoin like a decade ago and then forgot about it. A few years later he remembered his investment and his investment turned to millions. But he forgot the password to the account. The guy could have retired in his late 20s or early 30s. If it's the guy I think you're talking about he had like 200mil and had 2 attempts left from 10 for his password, he'd written it down and lost the paper he'd written it on, a security company offered to help for 20% if they got into the account but said he should have gone to them after trying the password 2 or 3 times not 8 lol

@@makkerfelix Oh 1000% hindsight is 20-20 I just don’t agree with how he worded it. Greed wasn’t the mistake at all, not having patients and thinking it was over after little time was
@@terrellmajors7221 actually the mistake, isn't to not have paintence.... it's just not been experienced with the market. Althought many people (specially with cryptos) just buy and holds onto them for a long time, the best and safest way to win money is to just continuously keep buying and selling depending on how the market moves, in other words, just surf the ups and downs. In the long term run, you will make much more profit than just buying at "x" price and holding them for ages + you avoid this stiuations of going from winning half a million to not even having your initial investment.
@@magnezon1 That's literally the opposite of what is proven to be true. If you try to time the market and time buying/selling ups and downs, you will make big profits sometimes, but eventually you will lose all of your profits. Time in the market is proven to yield much more reliable, safer gains than trying to time the market.
Investing is full of "what ifs". The most important thing to becoming a profitable trader/investor is to limit your losses and make sure your wins are bigger. When you trade something as volatile as crypto you literally have no idea what it will be tomorrow or the next day.

In hindsight, not selling your cryptos would be a testament to your patience. If you sold it, then that's a bummer. And it sounds like you did. But you guys recovered. The lesson I picked up on is learning to dust yourself off and get back up.
Friend sold his bitcoines and got about 50k, if he would have waited 2 years he would have got over 1 mil rip.
It’s not a bitcoins it’s always singular
Bro I know you’re trying to make a name but here’s quick math. Bitcoin hit 2,000 and then boomed to 4,000 and then to 20,000 very quick, then within half a year went back to 3,000. It never went back below 3,000 so you would have never “lost all your money” you just didn’t sell when you should have after seeing the value drop for 4 months..... and if that increase and decrease killed your investment and his then it still doesn’t make Any sense. Because not even 2 months later, the value of Bitcoin increased to 4,000 and then 6,000 and then more lmao
The XRP moon boys of 2017 represented the top. I remember it like it was yesterday. The profits I made in 2017 allowed my wife to go back to college. Now it’s April 2020, and the DOGE moon boys are just the same. I’m all cash. Happy with my profits.

Here's how you play it safe after it going on a great rise makes you a good amount profit between 5 and 20 times sell half of it and let the other half stay that's real business
If he had just kept it even longer bruh. Now instead of 1 Bitcoin being 3000, it’s 55 thousand dollars. Almost 20 times what it was then.
