    Perfect way to handle that situation. It was funny to watch, I didn't think it was a mistake at first. Who cares even. Lol.

    LMAO.. and this is why Tom is a public favorite. Great wit and vary agile.

      It's spelled v e r y. Very not vary. If he were a public favorite he wouldn't be on PMSNBC with sheman Rachael and Mr. Tingle Thigh. But he need not worry. No was watching anyway.

      pardon my fat fingers your highness for the mistype... Tom has had a VERY long and full career. His moving to somewhere besides the main nightly news is a nice relaxation for him. So glad you are so informed.

      Cassie Wonderalke That would be No one was watching anyway, not No was watching anyway. Despite that, it appears that some people were so your statement itself is incorrect.

    Isn't that the emergency alarm that goes off inside a sinking submarine? Or whatever to do with diving subs. ...
    Very appropriate in any case - regarding this network's sinking ratings - and the ratings of the President they worship.

      So far as Canadians are concerned, his approval goes from anywhere around 75 to 90 percent amongst us. In Quebec I think it's at 99%.
      We're also a lot more left than you in the South (our Conservative Party is about what your Democrats are, the US has no parties to match the New Democrats or the Liberals, and us in Canada have no parties as far right as the general mass of Republicans, except for perhaps the Christian Heritage Party of Canada or the Libertarians, neither of which have ever won any seats and win a miniscule 0.0X% of the vote when (if) they bother to run).
      I believe most of our approval of Obama simply stems from our notion that the other party is more regressive in social policy.

      SelectCircle How charming. Good thing you're speaking to someone who's Newfoundlander first, Canadian second.
      Newfoundland was an independent nation until 1949 so we're as socialist as it gets and as separatist as it gets. And I don't hesitate to take swings at the Federal government or other provinces. Behind the meek veil of Canadian politeness each Province hates each other more than Republicans hate immigrants.

      You can add any sound to a ring tone.
      I do that sound for anyone who isn't in my contact lists.
      Which is usually bill collectors, who get a quick mute :)

      Tom Brokaw even said it was his alarm, then he pretended to talk on his phone to try to be funny.

  • @justgiz
    @justgiz 9 років тому

    That don't think that was a phone call. You can hear Tom say "And the alarm goes off" @ 0:20 Then after the "phone call" he just sits down the phone.
