And the lock is adjustable, so you can pull the hose out some, or all the way, reposition the lock, and let your required hose length lay on the ground in the area you are working at.

You can buy a 90° elbow and install it yourself if the threading is MHT/FHT as long as there is clearance for it in the housing assembly.
