Last I checked was under 2 investigations, facing numerous calls to resign...but she has refused to step down (to which I'm not surprised).

It would have been more professional if he actually took control of the traffic stop. If it was anybody else they would have been detained and not allowed to go in there house or vehicle like that. If your going to pull her iver gotta play the traffic stop by the book 🤷🏾‍♂️

@@bennyblanco360 I agree with you for the most part. Maybe he was more lenient due to worry of retaliation and/or it affecting his job security.

@@bennyblanco360 I get where you're coming from, 100%. I have no doubt this officer felt the weight of knowing he just pulled over the DA, this going viral, and the Chief on the phone with him. In my opinion, he did the best he could in that moment and his main objective was to maintain composure while she clearly did not. But I do hope he has learned that taking control of a stop is essential.

I'm not even a cop nor do I have any law enforcement training or background (other than my grandfather being sheriff in the 1970s). But, she should be arrested for: 1. Fleeing and Evading, 2. Reckless Driving 3. Interfering with Investigation 4. 55 in a 35 moving violation 5. Wanton Endangerment.

Oh yeah, she violated many laws here. This situation was very upsetting and in my opinion her apology was not very convincing

Boggles my mind how these people even get elected and appointed. Thank god for the body camera footage, who knows what would have happened to that officers career had it not all been recorded.

Very good point about the body cam! I remember when the issued them to us at the department where I worked, in 2016, and I was very happy about that.

She would have been arrested. I don't put up with non-sense. He may have stayed calm but nothing about this was safe in my opinion, to calm for my liking. I don't care who you are, you treat every stop the same and with care. She could have just been fired for all he knows, and she returns to the vehicle or goes in the house to grab a weapon. At the end of the day I'm going home, I don't care what title you have.

I’m sure he felt pressure from all sides however you’re right, it’s important to take control of the stop no matter who

I do not know enough about her career, but one can only be curious how disrespectful she has been to others since she was very disrespectful to this officer. I really hope she regrets her actions.

The Webster police should have been detained for a night just to make a point.
