- I show you the difference between the Jay Parts and BNR aftermarket greasable pitman arm. Install a new pitman arm in my Can am. test ride conclusion.
“But uh, cheers” now you are the guy I’d like to drink with while ripping apart our machines😂same issue on mine
Lol thanks for watching buddy!
Now that time has past after the install, do you have anymore of that squeaking happening? Just curious. I sold my 2020 Outlander yesterday and I can say I won’t miss that annoying squeak.
Also, I’m buying a Renegade 1000 XMR soon, can I use that same product on the Renegade? Thx Robert. Always enjoy your content!
The mod was done to get rid of the slop in the steering. But it did get rid of some of the squeak too. I'd spend the money and get the Jay one instead if I could do it again. I've already had trouble with the spline clamp coming lose on his one. That's what causes the bushing to fail in the first place. Thanks for watching.
Good information here , taking that apart/installing looks like a pain in the d&@k . But I see it helped you out tons . The OMD bar riser looks good on your machine. You have a lanyard harness on your winch ? Happy New Year to you guys !
Shhhhh. The omd is on the down low lol. Video up in a couple weeks. U may or may not get a shout out on that one. Lol
@@RobMillerATV lol oooops I just saw it on your test ride . I’ll comment later on it , on that video …… and oh ok , my name is gonna be UA-cam famous , between you, maritimer, and being in quaddingsous vidoes and the odd mainville one lol
@SCOTIAN it's a good thing any pr is good pr the way maritimer slams u. Lol. I didn't know you were on a Maineville video. I used to be a big fan of his channel.
Looks like the stock pitman arm could be modified to be greasable if you have access to a welder
Most definitely could be! I was going to try it with my old one, but never got around to it.
Stupid question but why do ya have to loosen the power steering unit bolts?
So you can get the pitman arm on the correct angle to slide out
Bro not fair you unbolt the pitman arm and it falls off im sitting here doing everything i can including using the steering arms for leverage and it wont drop out
Did you take the bolts out of the power steering? From what I remember of that job, if you don't move the power steering back a bit it catches and won't fall off.
😎👍🍻
I would upgrade but looks like they don't make anything like that for 2015 outlander.
Both of these have a compatible version for 2013+ for the outlander but I think I'm going with the Jay parts one it seems better
It is the better of the 2.
