Haha, great vidéo, I made a video about swapping a K20A2 into a AW11 MR2, and I was never expecting it would have was that expensive, even if I've made everything by myself. But I guess this is the price for reliability. Great stuff.
Bruh I make less HP on my 06 Type S and spent like $30K.. Full 4-Piston Turbo Longblock. Cost me about $7K at the time.. Have a fully built Trans by Dale at Gear Driven Ink.. Full Helical PPG 1-4 with Syncrotech Carbon Master Kit and Quaife Diff.. I got a great deal on this as the PPG set was partially used so I paid a little less than $4K. The turbo kit was fully custom built by Sheepey and they put the whole thing together for me. They gave me a partial sponsor and I got the whole kit for $6K and this included a $2000 Garrett g25-660 Turbo(kit msrp part for part woulda been around $10K).. Next big purchase was custom Bilstein B16 Damptronic suspension. I called Bilstein direct and was able to work out a deal with them. The suspension is fully remote controlled and from the push of a button I can adjust dampening and ride height. Probably the best mod on the car. Bilstein Struts are just the best. These were around $3K. So far I was at around $20 and the other $10K was spent easily.. 17x9 Volk Ce28 cr's were a quick $3K.. Full Acuity shift package (Acuity 4-way shifter, detents, shift selector springs, and cable bushings $500), Full Radium Fuel setup (Billet rail, pulse damper, regulator, gauge and lines $600), ID 1050's $400... Im also using Kprov4 with a Sony Blutooth DD with mirroring, so I use the Hondata app and I am able to get direct readings on my screen rather than having to use gauges. Then there is a bunch of other misc things like Tires, exhaust, wire tuck, catch can, ect.. All in all about $30K.. Luckily I do a lot of my own labor or it would be more like $40K lol

Nice video alot of $$$$$$ lol. I have build block. Rods,pistons,bore .50 over,stage 5 clutch, ect. Im keeping it affordable log manifold lol. U said u are running a 62-66 turbo. Ball bearing,journal? What exhaust AR? What rpm do u have boost? How bad is the lag? What injector are u running?
great vid, can you make videos on how to maintain/ service & rebuild a kseries motor. maybe how to do a k20/k24 frank setup. i have a stock boosted rsx that i put togther but i want to start working on the motor now. thanks
My return fuel system with Id injectors cost me about $800. I used a complete fuel line from a wrecked RSX, to cut down on AN fittings and braided line. I still have braided line, but only in the engine bay.

Brother wow excellent content you present very well. My charge pipes are very similar to yours. So let's say you have a car that has already been tuned. Is it possible to increase hp by upgrading to a better intake manifold and intercooler alone, with the same exact tune? Are the stock crank case vents not enough for a 400hp k20a2?
