If you watch the video to the very end and you hear me say it didn't work that's because I thought the recording didn't work. the cowl hood worked exactly as it's designed to

There was a paper years ago from the AMC Javelin Trans Am Penske team. The 71 Javelin with their cowl induction supposedly gave a 1/2 lb. boost in air pressure to the carburetor at 70 mph. A very mild supercharging effect. The 1970 trans am Javelin with the forward facing hood scoop, it was found that the air coming over the front of the hood was actually deflected up and over the top of the hood scoop. My 1959 Impala with the floor air vents open at 70 mph has a lot of air coming in. So there is some proof that the cowl induction does really work over the forward facing hood scoop type.

Most people who don't race cars, don't understand cowl hoods. They think it's supposed to work as a heat extractor, allowing better airflow through the engine bay.
Quite the opposite. It takes advantage of a low air pressure zone at the bottom of the windshield, and sucks air into the engine bay, for cooler, smoother airflow too the intake.

NovaMan 350 it was also designed to work with high rise intakes blowers ECT

Correct especially with carburetors what not colder air, means a better power curve. However it does vent the bay, and lowers temperature overall.

I have been wondering if it would draw the air in like that. Its like an eddy current, only with air not water. This video saved me a lot of time, Thank you. Simple too.

I think you should edit this video and voice over the correction. As you mentioned In the comment. It did work.

I've done a mini cowl hood model with a big fan spinning fast I was able to make it big enough so I could get my head inside the engine compartment and very little air gets inside the engine now with the ram air scoops it's slot better air does enter inside the engine compartment.
