Love the tea towel with all the animals! It's so precious. I have been spying that hedgehog mug in your videos and think it's adorable. I am on a strict no-mug diet for the past few years now so I admire them from afar whenever I go to Home Sense or Home Goods.

I put Autumn deco out after my youngest sons Birthday is over, so around 10th Oct. Then Halloween decor goes up on 30th Oct and comes down on 1st November ie is only up for Halloween on 31st, for the kids. I start decorating a bit for Xmas on the 1st Advent (27th Nov 2022). In Germany you have an Advent wreath with 4 candles and light the candles on each of the 4 Advent Sundays leading up to Christmas. The Scandinavians do something similar.

DW Home Warm Tobacco Pipe scented candles - the BEST for autumn and going into winter. Doesn't over power, just a lovely backgound scent.
First off, love your haul. The hedge hog mug is adorable. I too am a sucker for candles . Target had this one last year that was pumpkin creme brulee. I just got new tea towels to in the colors of what I want for my future kitchen. We are going to redo my kitchen in spring. But it's fun picking out the bits for it! Hope you have a wonderful week

Candle sniffing in Home sense is a national pastime! I bought the Martha Stewart candle in the gorgeous pumpkin so I can reuse it. Also treated myself to a pumpkin mug, and a cast iron pumpkin casserole dish from Home Bargains.

I love watching your channel. Your so sweet to watch in your garden. I would love my flower gardens to look as sweet as yours. I live in Michigan, US so not a very long growing season and none at all through late fall winter months. Your hedge hogs in your garden was really what drew me in. One of my granddaughters has one for a pet, named Callie. She would love more but they are rather expensive here in the states. It was a birthday present from her mom and me. She is turning 16 this month, on the 31'st.

those are some pretty cool books and you are absolutely correct the illustration in them is vibrant and intriguing and it draws you wan love them your nieces and nephews well too I said you keep them at your house so when they come to visit you did they get to do those things with you.

You can only buy pieces at Homegoods, TJMaxx and Marshall's (which are all sister companies here). I think it's Homesense and TKMaxx in Europe. Last year people were hoarding, then selling them online for a considerable markup. I love the books you got. I buy books/toys for my grandkids to keep here for visits. 🍂🍁🐿

I have the woodland cooksmart ovengloves! 😁 We handwash everything too, you can't beat a good absorbant teatowel. I used the matching aprons to cover my dining chair seats. Enjoy the new homeware, I love changing a few things out seasonally. X

That hedgehog mug was just waiting for you. It definitely had to come home with you. Love the books. I am certain adults can enjoy them just as well, and alone, no kids needed, just a nice flickering fire place, a scented candle and a mug of tea.

I'm not really an autumn fan because of the cold, spiders especially 🤯 and having to wrap up and refrain from putting the heating on.....Also, the pumpkin smells and spicy cinnamon smells just aren't a vibe for me. I prefer summer most definitely 😎

Australia is simply not a warm and cosy vibe! You have to work hard to create it. I think its because the nature and fauna is harsh and brittle and even when really cold it can be very very humid and sticky..I love using candles and my open fire for that purpose. Love love love the hedgehog mug!

I bought the same 'display' teatowels with the idea of making a stack of cloth pumpkins from them but never got round to it.

Love Home Sense, in the USA it's called Home Goods, I always find things I think I need when I go there. I too have tried to be mindful of what I am buying. At my age (68) I need to get rid of lots of "stuff".

Mugs are my weakness! I always have to have a gander at them wherever I’m shopping. I also just purchased some three wick candles and I place them in my fireplace for a bit of ambience instead of a fire. Just a soft glow.
