Varroa mites are devastating for bees and will eventually kill off your hive so its important to keep on top of it. Apivar is an excellent treatment option. Its easy to apply and very effective at killing varroa mites without harming your honeybees.

I put it in my hives towards the end of fall and leave them till the end of February, take them off a month before the nector run starts... Has worked amazing for me doing that in the last three yrs.. so far this season I've had no vora mite at all...
Strips all placed 2 weeks back
And of course don't for get to record your treatments in your Veterinary medicine administration records and keep them for at least 5 years. 😉👍
I put Apivar strips in my hives yesterday too. A nice day with a bit of sunshine and some Himalayan Balsam flow too, so the bees were in a decent mood. With treatment sorted all that remains now is making sure they have plenty of stores before winter, which could come early this year if spring and summer is anything to go by.
Do you use the strips along side gas vapping too ? Awesome video ad always 👍🐝🐝🍯
