I just love Ryobi cordless tools, I have around 50 different Ryobi tools and they all work great.

Alternative current? I think you mean alternating current....

I personally like that the battery connects and disconnects so easily. Lots of people suffer from arthritis; therefore, this type of connection may mean the difference between connecting a Ryobi battery and not being able to connect one at all.
Since the battery doesn't have to directly touch the inverter, heat issues are reduced, and the fan won't have to operate as much. Nice unit and good price.

Thank you for giving us the perspective of disabilities, I haven't thought of that point of view and I will start pointing it out in my videos.

@@ExpeditionLightbulb Thank you. Overall, Ryobi batteries are overly difficult to remove from Ryobi's tools and chargers. I am 60 years old and able to do it. Stretching the hand over a wide battery and squeezing tightly may not be good for carpel tunnel syndrome and definitely impossible for people with weak, damaged, or orthoridic hands. From my experience, Black & Decker 20 volt and Worx 20 volt batteries are much easier to disconnect, though still difficult for many "seasoned" people.
I am thinking about if I needed to help some senior citizens during a power outage. I can provide them with (some) of my equipment, like this new 18 volt 120 volt inverter and batteries. She is 91 years old with moderate dementia; however, it looks like she could handle connecting a Ryobi battery to an inverter! Yay! Yes, a Jackery would be even better but costs more money.

This little bugger will actually charge my Milwaukee batteries in the charger. I was a bit shocked. Awesome little gadget.

The simple answer is that you need a solar generator/power station to charge the battery.
