I attended the week long talks, given by Krishnamurti at Brockwood Park in 1976 and 1977.
My own assessment (after many years) of what Krishnamurti says is as follows :
There is a Profound Difference between 'observation' and 'introspection'.
Introspection is a never ending scratching of an open wound.
Observation is a healing 'bandage' over this wound, it seals off the probing damage caused by endless examination.
Examination, introspection, self analysis, soul searching, navel gazing - they are all 'crushingly' never ending.
    Observation is totally different.
The 'realm' of 'Observation' is like observing a smoke signal.
The fleeting message being conveyed by the signal is transitory, as the smoke disappears.
These signs carry a sense of 'revelation', of learning.
There is no probing examination of the smoke signal, because there is nothing left to examine.
'the brain is not burdened by memory'
The meaning (the revelation), of the smoke signals has power to totally change what you do, because you trust them and you know they are on your side.
You can't capture the signals, but they are there, and deeply relevant.
    The smoke signals are
connected to the world and are your connection to the world.
Once you can read the intimacy of the 'smoke signals', the rest of the 'entertainments' and 'faux seriousness' of society come across as out of touch and insincere, as well as absurd.
There is fantastical joy when introspection and examination ends.
    It is a profound relief.
Introspection and examination and endless seeking end when you give up searching.
You give up because you are utterly sick and tired of it.
Introspection, self examination will now start to just feel wrong.
A mental 'trip wire' is created that you step back from.
Sometimes you can't understand what exactly has happened, you will forget.
But the insights of the 'smoke signals' return.
((It is similar to studying electrons, we would like to know what they are doing when we are not watching them - it has been found that the behaviour of electrons change just by the act of being observed.
Observing ourselves without 'identification' (as called by Krishnamurti), is observing ourselves without the interference of watching.))
The revelations are often completely 'eye opening' and joyous.
As long as quiet discipline is maintained, the 'smoke signals' and revelations (learning) keep coming.

This is deep. Thank You for sharing. Sometimes I wonder, will I ever understand what he said? A voice in me (as if) reply :
I hope you never understand… never hold it. Just watch, endlessly, as unseparated as your broken image may possibly can…. And yet, I find myself in it again, in trying to hold some kind of understanding…
But as it seems you too, I don’t let it cover the vast space of existence, and find daily joy in what I don’t know, yet watch with all my heart.
I truly appreciate this conversation and I’m very thankful you reached out.
      Thank you
      a.

Well, I don't know if you know England.
      The weather can be terrible.
But in the year of 1976, it was the dryest year for over two hundred years.
      The weather was glorious.
At the site of the talks, a large tent had been erected, there were a line of trees about two hundred feet away, and all the attendees were camped in small tents under these trees.
There was one talk a day, and the huge tent was used for serving food in the meantime.
There were people doing Tai Chi, behind a hedge, or walking off into the countryside to contemplate what had been said.
The local village had a pottery and the lanes were lined with high hedges.
So, there you are, now you can be there!!

I still develop the format and subtitles is something that I tried (you can see in some shorts at the playlist), for now I try without because it wasn’t clear if it helps. But I’ll keep this in mind

( tip: the loudness percentage used on the background music is to high, I think, the piano takes over for seconds every now and then..while the words spoken are so important )

      Many thanks for your feedback.
It’s a known issue and I work to improve.
Please don’t hesitate to point here and there if you find a piece with good or bad balance.
And most importantly, you are correct, is the pondering over the words and the pointing

Listen to your own work like a stranger..:-)?
( Do You Feel Lucky at Vimeo might help to experience the balance, the music will then stay with you as a pointer for the rest of your life..:-)
I would like to share your pointers, but honestly hold back for now..
Do you like the piano that much, personally?
If so, should young people these days not like Hanna Rani ( Polish piano player) more?
