I'm checking out that recipe. Thank you! We are hoping for vow renewal too, but hard to plan this far in advance with my parents. We'll see 🤞🙏

On my first trip to Paris in 2009 I took the Fat City Bike Tour, which was a great way to get oriented to Paris. It starts and ends at their office near the Eiffel Tower. It is an American company, and the tour guides were Americans.
Good luck finding an apartment in Paris. I agree that they are not that expensive (compared to larger cities in the US. However, I like to cook, and many of the kitchens are small with little or no counter space.

Yes, we have found that to be true as well. We also want to have a decent size kitchen. Fat City Bike Tours are very popular and we understand why, but haven't taken one yet.

I was in Paris 8 years ago and did several walking tours with SightSeekers Delight. They were fabulous! Totally worth the money! I would definitely use one for the cemetery.

Interesting about the vow renewal. I wondered why I saw so many wedding outfits and photographers by the tower.

This is not a cruise idea, but have you had tea at the Ritz? Not afternoon tea which is quite expensive, but just a cup of tea. It’s a nice experience.

I think I took a similar food tour in Le Marais with Devour Tours. It was wonderful!

Great video, as always. Since I’ve been married to a Parisian for almost 40 years, I will weigh in on pronunciation. The cemetery is pronounced in American English as ‘pear La Shez. Think of ‘shed’’ with a Z instead of a D.
Lachaise, if it were 2 words, ‘La Chaise’ would mean ‘the chair.’
Next, is your pronunciation of Sacré Coeur which means’Sacred Heart.’ Coeur isn’t ‘cure’; instead, it is as best I can explain it, ‘Cour. That’s not really correct; you have to learn how to pronounce vowels & consonants. Pro tip: Reverso, is, imho, way better than Google Translate. It also has a pronunciation feature which helps with how to pronounce French words.
I think it’d be lovely if you renewed your vows in Paris.

Thank you for the help with our pronunciation. It's much more difficult to learn the language when we are not there 😟 But we're trying our best to stay consistent with our practice.

Yes! It's pronounced la "shez". And KJ, your accent has definitely improved! 👏

It’s definitely a good plan to take a tour of Père Lachaise as it’s massive. ( it’s pronounced
“pear-la-shez”). Whilst you’re out there in the 20th, have a walk in the Buttes Chaumont park. Its lovely! PS. I think I might book the same tour as my partner loves cemeteries, so thanks for the suggestion 🙏

Thank you, we will definitely check out Buttes Chaumont while we're there. We've never been to the 20th, so we excited to explore. You'll have to let us know how you enjoy the tour!

please Tony, stop looking UP to the ceiling OR your recorder, please DO look straight to us ! (sorry, being french my englis might be not uderstandableà ) - ths is wird ... I already have bothered you with a comment, BUT you don"t seem to take any notice and still
are looking up to tue ceiling OR your camera up on a stick ?? - 🤩

Thank you, but he seems to be looking straight ahead to me (KJ)?! I don't really know what it is. Tony appears less comfortable in front of the camera since he has not been doing it as long as I have, yet I feel he is doing a really great job and getting better the more we do it.
