- Es handelt sich hier um einen Mitschnitt eines Konzertes im Congress Innsbruck ohne Publikum am 12. März 2021 während eines Corona-Lockdowns. Deswegen gibt es auch größere Abstände zwischen Sängern und MusikerInnen als normalerweise.

David Kerber ist ein fantastischer Evangelist! Dramatisch und sehr ausdrucksstark!
Vor allem war er damals erst 23 Jahre alt! Das ist sehr außergewöhnlich!
endlich ist mal die Stimme des Jesus optimal besetzt. Sehr oft es es ein Bariton mit wenig Tiefe. Hier bestens.....Alt und Sopran auch ideal besetzt besetzt....ich weiß wovon ich spreche...ich war 4 Jahre der Sopran in der Matthäus Passion, später der Jesus und heute unterrichte ich Stimmen. Danke für diese wunderbare Aufführung.....

Ah - wonderful. Going to 'save' this for Easter Sunday. Always astonishes me to see youngsters tackling a massive work like this at all, never mind without scores.

Marvelous performance! A wonderful accomplishment. The soloists were outstanding (especially the expressive Evangelist and both tenor soloists)... But why no boy alto soloists? ... Maestro Stecher's interpretation was very much a modern one, but to me, that's a style that's a little too emotionally cold and remote. The knabenchor was very, very impressive. Looking forward to the Johannes Passion.
