I love PDM fragrances, but unfortunately after their reformulations across the board in 2021ish?, the performance has been completely neutered compared to what it used to be. If you really like a certain scent from PDM, I would consider hunting for an older formulation bottle on the second hand market. 2 things that will let you know it is the pre reform batch is the alcohol % and the batch code on the bottom of the bottle. The old batches will say 78% alcohol vol on the bottom vs the 82% now. And the older batch code will only be 6 digits long compared to the 7 digits for newer reformulated ones.
*Maahir Legacy has answered the chat* Which cologne do you think does a similar job to sedley but better? For the hot weather that you spoke about? I got my Maahir Legacy after blind buying Rasasi hawas and I really do enjoy Maahir legacy and it’s a clone of sedley. What other cologne do you think is similar in scent?
I had similar experiences with the maceration but didn't think about it that way. I thought it was my nose becoming more experienced. The first time I sprayed it was when I was reintroducing myself back into the hobby and I only smelled mint. Now that I've worn it again for this summer, and the 50ML has had nearly two years to macerate, it literally smells like 7Up to my nose until deep in the dry down. However for me it's always been beastly, even when I first bought it. I would go anosmic and get compliments 8 hours later after dousing myself in like 9 sprays. Now when I do only 4 on average I can still smell it around me nearly 10 hours later. But I don't think this is worth a rebuy for me after this 50 ML runs out. I am curious tho, since there are plenty of perfumes that smell like Cherry Coke, Regular Coke, and even Root Beer, is there anything else that smells like Lime Soda? Wonder if I can get that profile for even cheaper
If i ever find something like a lime soda i will definetly let you know! And yeah that seems to be how pdm fragrances mature over time. Maybe mine will be more beastly after a year, i guess i will see!
I tried it out this summer, but it wasn’t worth it. I found myself reaching for other fragrances that last longer and project better, like Invictus Legend. For me, Sedley with Layton is a top 5 perfume of all time. Those two PDM perfumes gave me the most compliments, and I have 50 perfumes in my collection. Solid performance of both perfumes, Sedley the king of late spring and summer, Layton of autumn and winter. Those perfumes are unique, if you want to be unique I strongly recommend it. @@ChadSecrets I'm good what about you sir
@T0ut8ttifig doing good! Getting back into the video work zone after couple days off
One of the most disappointing niche fragrances. Can't believe this cost 300$ and smells worse than some 20$ fragrances from Nautica, jaguar
Haha yeah. I feel it smells good but the price just really annoys me
Thank u. It's not worth the hype
I agree with that
First 😂
My good Dimitri sir!
Greenly sucks. Sedley way better
I disagree but this is all subjective
Anything in a 4.2oz bottle is definitely worth it. 100 meters🤣😂😭Canadians definitely talk differently
@@robertosanchez2821 haha that is true!
Yes, the price is high, but you can always find it on sale. Maybe if the performances were better, like Sauvage Elixir, then the price would be reasonable, but they are a bit expensive like this. But, in the end, I am satisfied with those perfumes, because I know that if I enter a room with 1000 men, I will smell 100% unique.
Well thats what matters! If you like them dont let anyone tell you otherwise!
One of the most boring, overhyped frags in existence 🥱
You must live in a third world country
@@shoeplugtony7018 kidding me?
It is very hyped!
