Hello from Chapel Hill, NC. I visited friends in Oklahoma City Sept 13-16. We walked every evening and I recognized your garden 3 blocks from their home!!! What a joy to see it up close! The topiaries made me smile......for I first discovered you on a video of you trimming topiaries. You inspired me. I thought it would be creepy to knock on your door, so we will never meet....but thank you for the inspiration. My garden brings me great joy and was visited by over 900 people in 2022 on the Chapel Hill garden tour. That would have never happened if I had not stumbled across your videos years ago.
Oh I would have been happy to greet you!
Missed you all so much ❤. Hope you enjoyed your well deserved sabbatical!
So happy to see you Linda and Stewart!!! Missed you so much.
Thank you so much for reminding all that a pesticide is a pesticide even if organic.
Your cottage on the hill is a gorgeous transformation. Amazing, Linda
Love that you are back!
Great to see you for Wednesday Walkabout 😊
I’m glad you are back😊
I can’t believe the gardens are a year and half old they are absolutely beautiful front and back weytogo woman!
Loving Wednesdays again!!!! Welcome back!!!
I've discovered that I can not have too many pentas! I love all the colors and they are in bloom all the time.
So nice to see Kayla and the guys! I've missed that. Always nice to see your visitors, and of course your wonderful garden!
I just ordered your book combo for my daughter for Christmas! She is going to love it.
So happy to see that you’re back to just you and Stewart!
Hello, Linda. Thank you so much.
Everything is so lush and green, it is just incredible!
So glad that you took time to enjoy some time just for you. You certainly deserved it. However, please know that you were missed!! Glad that you and your crew are back to inspire us once again with new projects and trip around town. 😃👍🏻
Yes! Thank you!
Hello Linda! Glad you are back and recharged! 😊
Great to see you back and the garden looks lovely!
Outfit you are wearing looks like what I wore to school in 1970's. Sooooo coool Linda!
Lol, it does doesn’t it?!
Wow 🤩 your vision has come to life! I can’t wait to see what it looks like in winter with your evergreens 🌲
The garden looks incredible! What a joy to see. From Aus
Your garden looks so beautiful! I’m so happy you guys are back. I’ve missed you all so much and I hope you all enjoyed your time off. ❤
Thank you! You too!
I love the pink pentas, too Linda. They do so well here in GA & truly make a statement as well as attract butterflies & hummers. I’m all about perennials but always save room for the pink pentas. ❤
Welcome back Linda. Good to see u….
Great to see you again!
Looks like your neighbors have added more flowering shrubs to their staircase! Very nice
Beautiful garden.
Hooray! I missed your Wednesday walkabout! ❤
Things are looking good!
Welcome back! Nice to see you
Oh, what a great video.
I really enjoyed it, and like you, my Monarchs arrived late this season, which I found that unusual. That's a great tip to know about the grass and how you do it and reseed it for the following year. Good information!❤❤
So beautiful your home
Back in the Saddle Again...yippee❤missed seeing you. Hope your sabbatical went well from central Nebraska.
I’m in PA and just started seeing Monarchs and hummingbirds. Actually saw a bald eagle yesterday!
Wow!
Welcome back!
Not sure how to add a new comment so I'll reply to this one. Love everything about this channel. Welcome back! Does anyone know where to find the Butterfly Candy?
Yes! Plants by mail for now. Next year you should be able to find it at places like your independent nurseries and big box stores.
Linda, I have been following you for a very long time. I know your sabbatical was well deserved. But, I miss the intimacy and hands on gardening you did in your other home. Now, it seems you have other professionals doing all the hard work while you overlook.
Our bodies only allow us to do everything for so long. I’m sure you can go watch the old videos if you miss seeing Linda do all of the things. I believe grace is in order as things change and progress through life.
@@tracilee5012agreed & well said.
@@tracilee5012 so true!
It is always so much to do in the yard and garden. Every part of the cottage is simply beautiful❣️My question is have you had a mosquito invasion this summer like Chicago has had in 2024?
I haven’t! But I have heard about so many that have. What an issue it is.
Why shouldn't you get people in to help you in the garden - no brainer. Love those pants !
Ola linda grasias.por mostrar tu jardín hermoso que Dios los cuide
Missed you all soo much! Just wondering what your youtube schedule is and what is the name of the other youtube listing with your fashion, etc?
It doesn’t start till October 15!
So good to have you back! Where can I purchase Happy-grow Landscaper's Mix in OKC????
Lowe’s!
Garden looks very sharpe, beautiful and inspirational as ever .😊.
Don’t see the Jane Magnolia , new home ?
It’s still there!
Glad you are back. How is your little pumpkin vine doing? Did it survive in summer heat?
No! Squash bugs🤣
In another show, you mentioned your Lantana is an annual. I’m in zone 9 and it is a perennial. I planted the pink last season and lost 3 to the horrid heat, but the other 5 are happy. Will you plant more, Linda?
Oh my yes!!
Beautiful Garden..love ❤
💚
People need to realize some plants go dormant, not dead, and that is just fine. Not everything must be controlled unnaturally!
Did you have to submit a plan to the Historic Preservation group?
No but did meet with them before, Anne.
Name please of the seed company where you purchased your rye grass? And do you have to spread it yearly? Thank you, Linda!
Ekroats and yes. Each fall:)
Linda... Don't ever do that again... I missed you so much 💗
you are beautiful linda
Thank you linda. You are truly beautiful
Welcome back. I hope you had a nice sabbatical.
Is Leah still with you?
I was wondering the same thing
In a recent video Linda mentioned that Leah is working on other projects/passions that she has. Hopefully we will see her on some visits this fall. 🌼
@@lisaadams780 I thought so
...everything looks FABULOUSSS!!! I missed you! ❤🫶

Karen, I will discuss this in a conversation I have with my followers. Of course, I think I explain that in my videos, but perhaps not. I know for sure is that things change, and my not doing every bit of the work is one of those things. Let’s flesh this out in a conversation, shall we?
