They had multiple cores that was dual density, the gryphon comes to mind, but that was a major marketing effort on their part...the industry never really caught on, so it's good to see DV8, and now Track trying to revive that.
track, C300, brunswick and more had multi-density pieces in the 90s, but more inner nuggets and puck style pieces than shaped inners. Track started the m.d. band cores with the I-Core in the MX16 in 2014.
@@BowlingBuckosh Finally, MX16 gets a mention! Loved mine so much that I had to find a NIB one on eBay, not easy. Would really like to see that core put in an updated cover!! Please?!?! Thank You for the great video explanations!
Considering adding the Criterion to my bag consisting of the BW2.0Hyb, No Doubt, Hazmat Solid, Teal Rhino Pro and White Dot. Is it significantly stronger than the Hazmat solid? I’m RH speed dominant 17-18mph at the pins, 300-350 revs, 190 avg.
I absolutely love the Archetype solid, so another Track big ball is very tempting. How do you feel this compares with the Columbia 300 Atlas solid? I recently bought one and it's waiting to be drilled at my PSO. If you were to choose one ball for a THS league, would you choose the Archetype, Atlas, Stealth solid, Mesmerize, or Criterion for your first ball out of the bag- paired with a Pure Envy, Effect, Trouble Maker Pearl, and Dark Web Hybrid?
Compared to Atlas Solid i would say the motion shape is similar, but the Criterion offers more total hook from the midlane to the pins. The Criterion is a small step up. Not knowing your game makes this recommendation hard. Of these I would choose Criterion, but if you have a Pure Envy, i think there is some overlap there. Mesmerize goes above them and is earlier; Stealth Solid goes between Effect and TM Pearl as a smoother option.
@BowlingBuckosh I don't know if this helps or not, but: Traditional Down and In, lefty, one-handed, thumb-in, high track. PAP 4 5/8 Left 1 up. Tilt and axis rotation are both 15 degrees. Current Rev Rates175-200. Current Speed at pins 11-15mph. Thank you for the information. I love these videos.
Hey BB my driller on my 3.0 put the mass bias in the thumb hole Its notorious for quitting the last 10 feet. Im a lefty about 375 rev rate. any advice how to get a bigger hook window thanx!
when you say quitting, do you see it straightening out and going forward? some of this depends on the pin height (controlled by the VAL angle) and the pin-PAP distance as well. Knowing the layout will be very helpful. In general, MB in the thumb boosts the int diff and response to friction. if it's using too much energy in the midlane it might need much more headoil.
my left - 'pageant' by pwr bttm. viewer's left - 'everything you've come to expect' by the last shadow puppets. i have a lot more records, but the double LPs do not fit in my display wall 😅
Looking for something that could possible replace my Black Widow 3.0. Do you think the Critereon is on that same plane? Also liking symmetrical balls also with my lower RPM speed dominant style.
Again with the Man Man record! I might have to get this ball just because that's in the background. It looks like a pretty great ball regardless.
Always look forward to these tech breakdowns. Really informative. Thanks Bryan!
Track's taking a page out of Visionary's(R.I.P.) playbook. I like it!
which core? i am not too versed in their products.

How would compare this ball to Track Stealth solid.
Stealth is both smoother in shape, and weaker overall than this ball. This ball would go above it in your lineup.
I thought C stands for sCent 😮 lol
Bring back the Track Cyborg!

what are the bands behind you?
a number of indie rock bands - man man, the last shadow puppets, pwr bttm, and django django.
What is that album over your left shoulder?
top or bottom row?
@@BowlingBuckosh bottom. I’ve been trying to figure it out

@@BowlingBuckosh Thanks. Love the videos by the way. I'm a collector also but mostly older stuff.
