O again one of best History channels i'am again 1day to late but stupid time difference and was busy. We have already today Easter Holidays in Germany I love your channel i learn so many new things but what i hate some come only to argue and force their opinion to you so i won't talk to nobody here enymore only listen to your wonderful storys ❤❤🙋♀️
I bet Eadred knows the difficulty of having an illness which is probably why he wants to be in the forefront to have a warrior's death rather than succumb on his deathbed
Love your videos it’s so interesting to learn about the anglo Saxons kings!! Just noticed you said he was a son of Edmund but he was his brother, obviously Edmund and their father being Edward the elder is a tad confusing lol
Could have been crohns disease. Though it was very rare back then. You have to realize that most ate good diets, no ultra processed food. Anorexia sounds possible, but what else could it have been?
The Anglo Saxon Chronicles while very good at dates, big happenings etc don't accept everything they say as fact. They like basically all historical documents from any time are very biased. The "Scots" were a series of clans and there wouldn't have been any single entity to give path. Maybe 1 or 2 clams did that were near the boarder but there's no way that the Highlands calns did. They rarely recognised a king till very late on and probably knew very little about Eadred.
*Always a pleasure to learn uncommon stories with you...*
You are rigt😁
This series is so relaxing and informative to watch. Gladly waiting for more episodes in the future!
I love this show it feeds my love of mythology and legends 🙌
Great story about an overlooked king. Piercing the dark age must take some time. Thanks
Thank you legend of history for video 😀👍👍👍

Undoubtedly he had that in mind… but in those days, the troops followed the kings standard and the kings were at the fore…. And he did his duty
Different videos...
Different knowledge to gain.....
Good video as always 👍🏻
Do you think it’s possible if you can do a video on James Duke of York?
Love the English side of History here👌 but would love for you to touch on the subject of Germanic and Ghoul Kings and warriors.
Brilliant !!!

Good god the amount of commas in the first sentence
Nice👍🏽
Can you please explain Malthus?
It seems a lot of Wessex kings had stomach/ food issues.
I feel like that ‘wasting illness’ was maybe anorexia? And maybe that made him ‘sickly’?

IBS… other kings of Wessex had it to… or at least al the great did.
Awsome
How about one of malcolm the terrible. I heard an Islamic legend about malic malcolm the terrible who turned into malcolm the great. In the year 2021
I'd rather hear about Ivan The Terrible.
