    Here's the thing though,Neptuneman was already screwed even if he won in the Dream Tag. The moment he started following Neptune King,he turned his back on Strong the Budo due to having banished Neptune King. And even if they won,they(or at least Neptune King)would have been executed either way for using weapons as well as claiming false leadership. So yes,Neptune King indirectly screwed Neptuneman over by convincing him to follow him. Don't forget,even Psychoman confirmed he wasn't fit to be a Perfect Chojin due to becoming too proud,indicating he was a rule breaker since then.

    • @THEAnimeHERO
      @THEAnimeHERO  Місяць тому +5

      During that period, the concept of Perfect Large Numbers didn't exist but if this were to be applied to current canon. I'm guessing Neptuneking would've eventually rebelled & fought against the other Perfects but he'd very likely lose. Although without Neptuneking's interference, Quarrelman wouldn't have become a Perfect Chojin or gained his mask. Even though Neptuneman wasn't properly indoctrinated into a Perfect that at least got him intrigued to pursue that path. I wish there was a scene that would elaborate a bit more on his defeat by the Perfect Large Numbers. Like did he know about them? Or was this the first time he's ever heard of them or learn that Neptuneking was a traitor?

      @@THEAnimeHERO Well,2011 is a continuation so it applies perfectly. And yes,Neptuneman knew about the Large Numbers,since he tried escaping from The Man in Scramble,indicating he knows. Plus,Neptune King was banished,so no,he didn't rebel,cause Psychoman would have said so.

      @LordProteus Місяць тому +1

      I vaguely recall that Neptune Man was sent by the Large Numbers to test Neptune King to see if he can overcome his ego problem and demonstrate that by being subservient to Neptune Man. If he passed they could invite him back to the Perfect Large Numbers, but he failed the test. I might be remembering wrong, but I vaguely remember this explanation occurring somewhere in the Perfect Origin arc.

    I'd personally say that Ultimate Tag arc does also Re-Examine his position as the "future" representative of the perfect chojins, considering in nisei continuity ib it was specified that they are nearly instinct and he seeks new members to join in, even when 2 random chojins ask to join his cause because they idolize him, he ends up killing because he sees geniuene purity in belief of the perfect way of life, rather than being path to chase ultimate power (something even shogun comments on in 2011)....
    It's interesting that the cause of his lose against against 5 disasters in tourament was repeating his predecessor mistake and breaking a perfect chojin code that they established before the match which lead mammothman to betray him in same fashion as he did to neptuneking.

    • @THEAnimeHERO

      Nisei Neptuneman is incredibly brutal. Those two random chojin get freaking impaled into each other in possibly the most grotesque death in Kinnikuman. I'm very curious on Yudetamago's mindset when working on Nisei era. In comparison to the vintage & current Kinnikuman, Nisei is very pessimistic. The 5 Disasters were the most irredeemable characters who slaughtered their own race. Both Neptuneman & Ashuraman get really miserable defeats. Neptuneman managed to get sparred from Ashuraman's tragedy but I'm really hoping that the Nisei timeline comes into play with the current Time Chojin storyline. I desperately want a crossover instead of just treating Nisei as non canon.

      I think it is because of the context of the intend of the writer. The writer can always decide the meaning of who is appearing in what way and the meaning. The question would be why they would choose to do that to begin with aka. what kind of reaction do they want the viewer to have.

    Kinnikuman 2011, besides trying to tell a cool action and wrestling driven story, felt like it was trying to explain certain descrepencies between the OG series and Nissei.
    The more we got to learn about them in the manga the more I understood, or at least suspected, that this entire story was ment to explain why the Perfect Choujin, for the most part, ceased to exist as a separate faction by the time Mantaro had grown up and followed in his fathers footsteps, and even re-contextualized the events of the final arc of Nissei, which now felt like as if it was ment to be the last burning ember of what once was the original Perfect Choujin codex.

      I really hope the current manga ties in to that historical event that was mentioned at Nisei Tag CH24. Chaos being featured has been the biggest twist of the series thus far. After generally being turned off by Ultimate Muscle because of the ending of the Mantaro vs. Kevin fight, how the Demon Seed arc felt like mostly a retread of the Demon Choujin/Knight arcs of the original series, and the glacial pacing and really dumb forced conflicts in the Ultimate Tag Arc, I was honestly blown away by just how fucking good the 2011 revival was. Yude sat down and stitched together a coherent narrative out of all the shit before that they'd just made up as they went along.

During the Nisei era, they were trying to stray away from the fantastic elements a bit such as talking through tv monitors which was not possible. Meanwhile in 2011, everyone can hear & talk to each other via tv screens with no explanation as it should be. Well if the translation is correct, Chaos shows up saying he will fulfill his duty this time & there's a possibility he got revived from the ending of Nisei Tag due to the Complete Bulbs landing on his grave. So the door is still open that Nisei isn't non canon but instead might be a whole different timeline or continuity. Future Trunks storyline actually holds 3 separate timelines.

      I have an insane theory though.... In The Ultimate Tag arc its mentioned that when looking for a partner for Mantaro that Meat shares a legend of a mysterious Chojin who, during the peace all the veteran Chojin were going through after the Throne Arc, held back and defeated an army of evil Chojin by himself, losing his life in the process. It's heavily implied that the chojin's identity was Chaos. However after Chaos died it was kinda set up that maybe Thunder was going to be that Chojin but the arc ended too abruptly to actually say. So my theory is that the evil Chojin that invaded were the Perfect Large Numbers. It's not perfect and doesn't explain... well everything afterwards like the Origin, Six Spears, or Choushin that attack afterwards, but there's something there at least.
      Also if this theory turns out down the line to even be slightly true then that implies that Chaos was potentially strong enough to face all the Perfect Large Numbers at once which sounds badass as f**k.

      Wouldn't say that, bcs even though we don't have a text explanation to what chojin power is, we have A LOT of very consistent feats that show chojins with higher chojin kyodo overpowering the ones with less, or like no-selling their powerfull attacks, if Yudetamago wanted to translate that into text it would probably be something like: physical strenght, attack power, durability, and everything that has to do with physical might, basically chojins with higher kyodo can just juggernault others techniques and moves with raw power, but that doesn't seem to affect technique and speed, and also burning inner strenght directly buff the chojin's kyodo temporarily. Long story short, it's not the end all be all but it does matter to some extent in the revival

      One of the biggest praises I can give seems simple at first but it's the presentation via animation. It's impressive how the fights can finally move the characters the way they're supposed to. The 1983 anime had this bad habit of using slow-motion or using the minimal number of frames. Attacks didn't always have the greatest impact more so with the slow pace of the comedic side characters interrupting the pace. I'm glad that Perfect Origin Arc follows that format of the manga. The fights flow well with almost every attack feeling like an incredible animated feat. I'm also shocked how Production I.G. managed to be creative with the visuals, too. It's not 1:1 to the manga in a good way such as the original wrestling promos acting as character bios for their debut. It's a real passion project like JoJo was to David Production. I also did a livestream about 2 weeks ago. ua-cam.com/video/IqzB7_jPFBQ/v-deo.html

    I just finished reading the Nisei manga and am now confused about Goldman and Akuma Chojin.
    Wasn't Goldman the one who created the Devil Chojin and became Akuma Shogun as implied in 2011 Kinnikuman? Or is Akuma Shogun something created by Satan?
    Moreso confusing is that Akuma Shogun uses diamond manipulation in Nisei but it is implied Goldman learned that from The Man. Also Akuma Shogun apparently existed far in the past before Gold Mask arc took place.
    Not sure if things can be even put together. But I have yet to read the final manga with the Ultimate Tag Tournament.
    Maybe the Perfect Origin arc Netflix adaptation will explain it better. Wish we could get Nisei fully adapted but it seems not to be that popular.
    Also the timeline with Neptuneman and Quarralman or whatever is kinda weird. I had the impression Neptuneman came to existence because of Neptune King and thus became a Perfect Chojin. But in 2011, it is implied that he was one prior and even a canditate for Perfect Large Numbers. I don't know what to believe now.
    At this point, I assume that 2011 is an alternative continuation than a flat out sequel to the prior story so it can have more freedom to alter events without having to worry too much about Nisei. And the Time Chojins introduction serving as means for alternative timelines for a possible crossover. Maybe we can see them fight their children (which they apparently did in another sequel manga) with an alternative outcome.
    Something weird about Nisei is, apparently it talks about how 10 million power isn't special, but I can't recall any character with a power above 10 million in Nisei. Maybe Voltman? Idk.

    • @alexstergiou247

      @M3rtyville Akuma Shogun and Goldman are the same(just like Anakin and Vader). And yes,he trained the Devil Knights. And Satan just used them to be his overbody. As for Neptuneman,he was probably introduced to the Large Numbers by Neptune King before being cast away. As for Nisei character with higher PL than 10 Million are Shimao and Kirinman.
      Also,PL are bs.

    • @THEAnimeHERO
      @THEAnimeHERO  Місяць тому

      There are contradictions with Akuma Shogun but also differences between original & Nisei. Akuma Shogun aka Goldman isn't Satan. Satan is his own character. What makes the contradiction is the original manga as it shows Satan tempting Goldman to have a body which starts the Golden Mask. At first glance there seems to be no way Goldman could've trained the Devil Chojin despite saying he did. But there is a way to make it work. According to the Devil Chojin, Akuma Shogun MUST'VE existed to train them until his decapitation duel against Silverman. So he should have his Goldman appearance during those days. In some of the 2011 flashbacks of the Perfect Origin Arc, Goldman is wearing the Akuma Shogun outfit but without the helmet. So things can work that way if we remove a bit from the Goldman & Silverman duel flashback. But how does Akuma Shogun revive himself in the 2011 series? I guess the same way Silverman did.
      However, in Nisei continuity Akuma Shogun & Satan are the same character but not in Nisei Tag. The very end of Ashuraman's fight with Mantaro there's a lot of panels that prove that Shogun & Satan are the same person which doesn't mesh with either continuity from the original or the 2011. Nisei CH292 shows that version of Akuma Shogun attempted to steal the Golden Mask. He's even holding it. So that version of Shogun isn't Goldman. I guess in that continuity, after he was killed by Kinnikuman in Golden Mask arc he sought Meat to revive himself. At the end of 292, you see the Satan shadow form & Ashuraman calls him Shogun. In 293, you see Akuma Shogun's outline over the Satan shadow form so they're the same character in Nisei.

      It's a good question. Strong The Budo has a kendo shinai but he doesn't use it in actual matches. His fighting episode hasn't debuted yet. Strong did hit chojin with it but this was before any official fight. He does keep carrying his shinai & dramatically points with it. Meanwhile other characters have built in weapons that are part of their body such as Max Radial's shoulder tires, Turbomen's Revolver Fin, & Dalmatiman's fangs. Heroic characters like Warsman also have retractable Bear Claws. The broken law here would be Neptuneking using the corner pole as a weapon at least in that context. I guess the real life wresting equivalent of foul play would be using a chair or a table instead of utilizing the powers that the character already possesses.
