Mensa-fied best friends and roommates Leonard and Sheldon, physicists who work at the California Institute of Technology, may be able to tell everybody more than they want to know about quantum physics, but getting through most basic social situations, especially ones involving women, totally baffles them. How lucky, then, that babe-alicious waitress/aspiring actress Penny moves in next door. Frequently seen hanging out with Leonard and Sheldon are friends and fellow Caltech scientists Wolowitz and Koothrappali. Will worlds collide? Does Einstein theorize in the woods?

It can be viewed as a sign but there’s nothing about numbers or silver that automatically “means” something. It’s just as realistic as saying that vampires and werewolves are hurt by silver.

Sheldon in the ball pit is absolutely one of the best moments in the entire series.
Love the look on Raj’s face when Sheldon reveals he considers Howard the acquaintance.
Raj and Howard are my favorite.

Legends say that the security guard is still standing there just watching Sheldon and Leonard... and not helping at all 😂

Earlier Sheldon made a comparison reference to Judas regarding his act of hanging him self after betraying Jesus to the Romans…the reward Judas was given by the Romans was 30 pieces of silver
Significance of the silverware is that Judas was given 30 pieces of silver for betraying Jesus
So the "30 pieces of silverware" line is a reference to the Bible, where Judas was paid 30 pieces of silver for betraying Jesus
The scene of the ball pool is so iconic. I remember me needing to stop the episode to breath!

Sheldon and Leonard are awesome characters in this series.
Leonard could have taken Penny AND Sheldon to Switzerland. The Cern super collider is Sheldon's dream and Leonard signed the contract. Leonard could have taken Sheldon to the super collider and then spent the rest of the time having a romantic holiday with Penny. I'm sure that Sheldon could have easily afforded to pay for his own airfare and accommodation.

Even if i'm not a huge big bang theory fan, i can't deny that the ball pit scenes are just freaking funny. Like the way how Sheldon comes in and out so fast is just freaking funny 😂😂😂
Also the part where sheldon is organizing the balls is honestly adorable to me. It felt relatable to me because i used to organize my toys in some order when i was little.
When I was once teaching a physics class, I used the "It's a WAVE!" quote to wake my students up. It certainly worked, and garnered a huge laugh from the class.

I know I'm likely in the minority but by the end I really felt that Sheldon should have been the choice to got to the Haldron Collider. Of course it's Leonards choice, and at first if I were him I would have chosen Penny too. But later realized how much of a once in a lifetime dream chance that would be to Sheldon. Once Penny agreed with Sheldon. And surely he could have taken Penny to a ski vacation somewhere, some other time, that she would enjoy just as much.

yep totally true, and they even agreed on the fact to take each other before even knowing penny, for me its leonard who is selfish in this situation. Of course if it was real, sheldon could just buy penny a trip to switserland and it would have been solved lol
The solution is much simpler
Sheldon has money he doesn’t need, he says so many times, he can just pay to go to Switzerland and use the spare pass to see the collider while The other 2 have fun skiing and stuff, problem solved.
It is very funny to see the characters play around inside of the ball pit, that is hilarious.
I love rewatching these series with you and seeing how you love them as much as I do.

Just letting you know that the 30 pieces of silverware joke was also in reference to Judas with 30 pieces of silver being the reward e was given to betray Jesus in the bible, that's also one of the only things I remember from going to a Christian school as a child XD But it does make sense in this as Sheldon, despite being a scientist, was raised in.a Christian family 😁

this episode triggers me as someone who had a friend betray me and watching people react to it reminds me of why I hate people. as a scientist Leonard should realize how big of a deal this would be for Sheldon and should be an experience with a best friend not a lover who wouldn't care a bit about science

It wasn't much of a war between Vista and 7. Vista was practically dead on arrival so they used it as the core of the next operating system which was then rushed to release without the same mistakes as Vista.
I remember Vista being so bad that they started a huge ad campaign trying to convince people that they didn't really dislike it. Basically saying that people only disliked it, because they don't like change, while also trying to show that, by claiming they made changes under a different name that people liked.

Forget Gamestop, on eBay, those older consoles would have brought some serious coin. Man, if I had the money to do it, I'd pay it to play "Perfect Dark" on N64 again.
.I think what I love the most is the consistency with the details of each character. Like this is one of those shows you’d want to play trivia with cause of how specific each character is. Like we as an audience know exactly how Sheldon likes his food, why he sits where he sits. Same with the other characters.🔥🔥

De ball pit part cracked me up sooo much the first time I watched it. I was laying sick in bed at the time and when that scene came on I laughed so hard and for such a long time it actually made me feel better. I rewatched it an hour later with my girlfriend and we laughed hours about it. Amazing that something so childlike/childish can be so funny because it comes from such an unexpected place. Sheldon. Lol
