Woohoo thanks! I’m doing all this for my dad so he can replay resident evil 5 gold edition on ps3. He played it on our old Xbox 360 which we no longer have so his saves are gone. He just got done replaying res 4 with cheats on pcsx2 then said he wants to play res 5 with cheats lol. So I set him up with artemis on ps3 and every cheat makes the game crash 😅. I told him I think ur SOL pops, ur gonna have to do it old school. Let’s just say he was bummed… luckily I found ur videos and ur gonna make his frown turn upside down 👍 Liked and subbed. got a question for you boss, if someone wants to buy a ps3 to start modding on, should we go for a Phat or a Slim?
Slim!! for sure! and preferably a model # CECH-250x series. Like a CECH-2501 A/B ... the a or b at the end don't matter that just means the size of the hdd, A is for like 160GB while B is like 320GB. Also make sure the ps3 was manufactured in 2010 or 2009. Look on the long sticker at the bottom, around near the middle, in small letters it will say "manufactured Month - Year" the month doesn't matter, the year should be 2009 or 2010.

@@killa_ you can install ANY cfw you want. Full rebug is best. but lite fine , they are the same the only thing is you can't convert lite to dex. if you don't know the difference of CEX or DEX, just google it. But you can always downgrade. I'm on 4.82 rebug dex and will probably remain there forever. But that suits my particular needs. There's a lot to learn, way to much to cover. Just search for ps3 jailbreaking benefits, tutorials etc. to get a better idea.

it is. lots of stuff, it all works, tons of games out there to be "found" etc. 7th gen consoles are the best for modding hands down. well and maybe the switch too!

been struggling downloading these tools and still am currently, I've managed to download them, finally (thanks to your link) but when I try to open/extract, I'm getting an error. "The archive is either in unknown format or damaged". Any help would be appreciated, I only really want the tools to be able to edit SPRX files and EBOOTS.
Fantastic work and thank you for doing this! I followed your instructions meticulously step-by-step and got everything installed. I then went to your other video to set up bruteforce save data and my computer said that an error occurred and the program would not run.
Every other tool that I clicked on worked fine, it was only bruteforce save data, which is the only tool I want to use. How can I solve this issue? Thanks in advance and again, awesome work that you do! 👍🏼

Hello KM i have a question when i try to update a game it says system software connat be run correctly

Is there a way to install it without running as administrator because when I do my pc freezes for a couple of minutes then says an error that says “the specified path cannot be found” but when I just run it, it works. The same thing happens when I run anything as administrator
OH ...that is definitely NOT supposed to happen. I wouldn't even care about the tools and work on getting that fixed stat, could be a security thing or lead to one. At some point one of the tools or more will require you to use it as admin but if it works without it , then use it until it doesn't

@@silencedspeech4953 no no no, hold on a minute. Lets clear this up, nintendo could care less what you do with your system! You can install atmosphere or reiNX cfw right now and use a ton of homebrew to modify your and do crazy things with your switch. Truly unlock lots of its potential. They don't care about that. BUT the minute you put sig patches in which are used SPECIFICALLY for piracy.... THEN there's a problem. Atmos and reinx do NOT include sig patches, sx os does! And these modchips purposely circumvent securities in place that specifically are there to STOP piracy. If there was a way that team xecuter could do these without having to bypass the securities for piracy, nintendo would not care. This is why TWO years later ... atmosphere and reinx are still up and don't get taken down. They also don't use reverse engineering or a modded version of nintendo's proprietary OS. So they were not made with nintendo's SDK. You can do ALOT with your system but the only people complaining about what nintendo is doing are those who want to pirate and are mad that the Big N doesn't let them. But you can "unlock" your system right now (at least a hackable one) without piracy. So whats the issue? :)
@@kmzoilus2486 They'll never be able to get rid of piracy anywho the issue i have is the lengths they go to in order to stop people from doing what they want with their console by purposely putting security features in place in order to stop reverse engineers and maybe i am mad for that reason lol but i can't even buy a modchip because PayPal won't let you buy one through a resellers site rip.
@@silencedspeech4953 "gaming" piracy will actually end when everything is cloud/streaming. Which it will. Maybe 15 to 30yrs from now, not more than that. There will be NO physical games, NO digital downloads. It will all be like stadia. With no digital versions and no physical versions you can't pirate, plain and simple. Even this gen saw console piracy start back pedaling. Only switch is fully hacked, xb1 has nothing, ps4 has an over 2yr old hack and its nothing like cfw on ps3 and it will never allow you to be up to date and current like 7th gen consoles did. This is one reason why the pc scene started growing again because games are easy to get there. But eventually those digital and physical games will disappear too. And the games will have even more security that only the home servers will decrypt and it can change every day, every month etc. Plus if hackers do find a way to get "in" and dump these games... there is no way on earth they're gonna share it, because then it will get sealed up, one of the reasons why more current ps4 kexploit is not being shared even NOW. I'm going to make a few videos regarding why I know piracy will end and why all the big companies and gaming studios want to go to streaming as soon as its realistically feasible. We still need faster internet, needs to be more advanced more readily available (possibly a totally wireless experience, who knows) but something better than what we have today. And the people who will support this, most of them, the youth.... havn't even been born yet.

So I downloaded it from one of your links and started following the installation but it stopped near the end and gave me a system error message. I chose to ignore the message snd continue following your guide and the file is missing from Folder 1. Any idea what to do?
yeah its missing because now for some reason google deems it as dangerous and removes it. Re-download it and in the download page of your browser (found in settings) just hit "keep" if prompted. If not, just look at the name of the file and do a search for it online and download it.

@@Brawler230C don't know, its pc related stuff meaning it can literally be one (or more) of a million different things. Get with the developer over on psx-place and ask him, his name is aldo vargas
just saying what captain crimar was saying is media fire is saying it wont allow you to download as it is saying they dont allow dangerous files to be downloaded
this is easily bypassed by going to downloads page of browser and looking at the download and select keep

Tried to download via your 2 links but both chrome and brave browsers both would not let me have access to either the mega or mediafire link saying files are dangerous. think its because of the short file links, do you have an alternate link as i want your version with the included .dll files to make it all work correctly

I updated the links .. they should be ok now. these sites are cracking down on files, even when they show a false positive they still will not let them get downloaded or have access to them

Could you explain to me how I can install "ps3Tools" without triggering all the alarms on my antivirus? The installation is impossible, my antivirus suggests that it is a "malicious" file, any help? greetings.
you have to just disable antivirus. in your antivirus you can create an exceptions for the specific exe files, just google how to do it, for your specific AV software.

for a ps3 the ONLY thing you can do to unban is get another console id, one that is NOT banned.
@@kmzoilus2486 Yeah, i did that, bought 2 already that were supposedly private, then used them only to discover they are banned. Hard to find a trustworthy person. Its almost like anyone peddling mods, cids, or any component of either is out to rip u off.

Hey bro I don’t think you’ll see this but when I download the file it doesn’t show up in my folder 1 but when I open the folder in winrar I can see it so then I try to drag that file into the folder 1 but it says that it already exists
this is a windows issue. Sorry, but you have to either do a search or go into a windows forum and ask, the file or file type doesn't really matter. YOu can try to reboot , then look in the folder and see if its there.

probably your pc antivirus removed it. Look for the name of the file and see if you can find it on google somewhere

PSNliberator is very very shotty and usually does not work which is why I don't use it nor recommend it. Its very hit or miss and usually miss.

did you try artemis? you can try codes for other versions like v1.00 or v1.02 sometimes all codes work or some codes work. Of course sometimes NONE work, but it doesn't hurt to try. Try just like 1 or 2 codes at a time though.
