She says, "Come up with a basic outline of the main points you want to make and then let AI expand on those points." In other words, don't worry about DEVELOPING your ideas, AI will do that for you. This is dangerous.

In my experience, working like this is the best use of AI. You ARE developing your own ideas, AI is just streamlining this.

@@benpines7026 Sorry, you are NOT developing your own ideas. I repeat the quote from this video, "Come up with a BASIC OUTLINE of the main points you want to make and then LET AI EXPAND ON THESE POINTS." Providing a basic outline is NOT developing your ideas.

@@fred3893 AI gives you suggestions to expand your point. You can browse through various suggestions, get ideas, or go in to edit your own. As someone who used this method, I can tell you that I am still the author and not AI. Why don't you try it, and then decide if you still feel ownership and authorship. We built our tool deliberately to keep the writer in control, unlike most AI tools out there.

@@benpines7026 You say, 'AI gives you suggestions to expand your point.'
'Expanding your point' is what you do when you develop ideas.
You also say, 'You can browse through various suggestions, get ideas'
This means you don't have to come up with your own ideas.
You say that you built your tool to keep the writer in control. That may sound good at first glance, but your tool allows writers to use as many unoriginal points and ideas as they wish.
Phrase it any way you want, but your tool allows students to hand in work that is NOT original
I am a teacher and as far as I am concerned, your tool allows students to hand in work that is not their own. In other words, your tool allows students to cheat.
      Thank you for responding.
