I'll never understand how people believe their personal problems has anything to do with a business agreement? Elmer Fudd purchased a 40 year old rolling rubbish bin from Beavis and Butthead to store his trash in and he's surprised that it didn't roll down the road like a Rolls Royce? And because he chose to waste the money he owed B & B for the Rubbish Bin, to stay in a hotel, because somehow he & Ma Kettle were too good for cot down at the Mission, it's now somehow Beavis & Buttheads problem?

This whole case is wonky. Plaintiff appears to be in decent enough physical condition, why can't he work and/or hold down a job? Needing to buy a rundown moneypit of an old RV to live in so he doesn't have to pay for a weekly hotel?
And why is Methany living with him, she looks like she's old enough to be his grandma? We never found out what she was paying for rent if anything. And there was another dude with a knife there too?
That and the plaintiff not being able to keep any story even remotely straight just makes me scratch my head as to what's going on. All of them have mental handicaps? Drugs? Making/selling drugs? All of the above?

    • @getin3949

I can name 15 reasons why that plaintiff lost this case:
    01) No written contract
    02) Claimed the deal was made under some vague price range of $750 - $1500 - $2000
    03) Contradicted his sworn complaint, i.e. lied about the actual down payment
    04) No (original or duplicate) receipts for supposed repairs
    05) Tried to be funny about his witness’ level of repair support
    06) Guilty demeanors i.e. head down, sheepish grins, selective eye contact
    07) Constantly fidgeting with his workpapers
    08) Did not pay remaining balance by the promised dates (due to job loss)
    09) Engaged in combat then fled from the police
    10) Provided Judge Judy with irrelevant documents
    11) Kept Officer Byrd hanging
    12) Brought a disruptive witness who thought she was at a tea party
    13) Talked to the defendants; made threats (“You guys are gonna get it”)
    14) Kept interrupting Judge Judy while she was talking
    15) Just being his weird self !

She had him right from the start, lying about how much he paid and when. It wasn't a "misremembering", it was an attempt to try to lie and say he paid in full which would make them evil and crazy for repossessing it. It's closer to the truth that he agreed to a higher price but thought he should get a discount due to the extra monies he had to spend, but they didn't agree to that discount and took it back.

  • @jeffreyclinard2002
    @jeffreyclinard2002 День тому +1

Yeah, this got a bit ugly. Judge Judy tossed the woman who looks like a meth user, while Officer Byrd had to put down his crossword puzzle to admonish both sides.
Don't make Byrd angry. You wouldn't like him very much when he gets angry.
