Portugal lost because of a selfish 39 yo who was holding back several quality players. It’s on him and The Portugal coach. You have to know when to quit! 25 shots, zero goals and xG of almost 4… nah, can’t stand selfish, egotistical players and he’s the very definition of egotistical/selfish. Never was a great team player. To blame the loss on Felix is “fanboy” logic.
Yup 🎯💯 People seem to always conflate the Ronaldo criticism as attacks on him as a person when it's just calling it like it is. I remember Lucas got attacked so much for his Joselu v Ronaldo discussion. The reality is that father time comes for everyone. And that doesn't take away from the illustrious career he's had but for some people they seem to think it's sacrilegious to call a spade a spade. Portugal can still use him but it's silly for them to continue to build around him rather than just having him exist as a piece of the puzzle. Coz Ronaldo at 39 is not Ronaldo at 25. But they keep behaving as if it is and shooting themselves in the foot.
