@@AZAHAZA But are Grey Dealers really benefiting from the inflated prices? Because they are also having to pay inflated prices to purchase the watches! Their margins aren't going up, so they are having to invest money more for the same marginal returns. The only people REALLY benefiting are those that are buying at 'Retail' and then flipping for the 'inflated' prices! There are exceptions on really high end pieces, where the profit is much larger, but on their day-to-day Bread & Butter sales of Subs etc, the Grey Dealers would much rather be buying for £7k and selling for £9K, then buyin for £12K and selling for £14K.

Iam in absolute agreement with Paul Thope, he's a true gent. My problem is with TPG is his arrogance. And his selfish disregard for Roman, Paul, Watch Eric, and Wolves of watches David Kahlil and all the other grey market dealers that are also trying to run their business.
And he selfishly gave no care, waited a week and watched every body business suffer. While trolling in the comments to his subscribers.

Iam in the UK 🇬🇧 so I wouldn't of done business with him anyway. But if I was, Consignment would be the last thing I would do with the TPG. Especially with him wearing consignment watches with his friends.

Archie! let Paul Thorpe conduct the interview Saturday, "then come to your conclusions". Listen! Paul is a competent professional, I have every faith that this will be a fair exchange. Remember! Paul, Roman, Eric, and others trusted Anthony and brought them in their tight circle. For Paul Thorpe this will be difficult, but he will get the job done, "people! just let him do the interview before passing judgement.

I do not like the way Thorpe is conducting himself in this interview. It is apparent he is predisposed to giving tpg the benefit of the doubt, as he is offering all different types of anecdotal excuses of other people's poor decisions and poor behavior. Frankly, I am questioning Thorpe's motives here.
Well we better tune in and judge for our self, I'm sure this TPG fiasco will generate more videos on the subject. It's the gift 🎁 that keep giving...sadly 😢⌚

It's quite funny actually, it's like everybody is using everybody here. This massive TPG fiasco has generated many videos, likes and views for the watch UA-camrs, so they earn money and get more subscribers for being angry at Anthony. It's an eco system just like the news, pain and misery sells. I'm sure Archie would love this to go on for the rest of the year. I only feels sorry for those who donated to Anthony.

I got the same impression. He sounds again like an apologist for TPG. Maybe that's why TPG chose PT for his interview. It reminds me of when Donald Trump used to go on Fox News to get "Hannitized" after mucking up.

I still haven't watched a 'watch community' UA-camr I could trust as far as I could throw them. Bear Clooney is possibly the closest to a no bullshit guy. The rest of them are shifty AF.
@Nigel Molesworth to each his own my friend. usually folks have tattoos that mean something, usually, not always. for example im covered head to toe in ink, i only get tattoos that have meaning, to mark special moments and struggles in life etc. i would suggest that a loyalty tattoo would mean something, i.e. this is important to paul. a word to look at each day and to live by. but again, to each his own.

There was a wider context to Ratners, though. It did sell nasty, cheap, jewellery and Gerald's 'joke' - IIRC it was video recorded, so we could see it for ourselves - was delivered in such a way that it didn't seem like a joke at all and I actually don't think it was. That's what people took offence to so it wasn't media manipulation, we were able to make our own minds up about Ratner.

He said more than once he is retired, there is nothing anyone can do to his rep... then adds online. He like anthony, thinks he is smart enough to lie his way thru this, his channel will implode if he waffles.
