people comment on the sarengi being out of tune, i say it adds character
It does. I feel like it’s kinda supposed to sound that way.
Ramesh ji's sarengi has fallen apart in the last 3 years or so... This wonderfully gifted sarangi player who used to steal our hearts and roll our tears at every meend, is now playing sub-par and sporadically (if not consistently) sounding out of tune.

no that is the tabla, the metal left hand side is the base part. It is basically two separate drums.
This is Raag Desh, not Bhupali
It sounds an awful lot like Raag Sorath
Each wrong note sticks out like a sore thumb, almost scares me from starting sarangi lessons.
