This National Volunteer Month, we're shining a light on the incredible individuals who make our mission possible. From our coordinators who recruit, train, and develop our volunteer force, to the remarkable volunteers themselves, teamwork drives us forward.
As Rob and Teddy share, volunteers are the frontline workers getting nutritious food to our neighbors in need. Their dedication to repackaging bulk items into family-friendly portions is vital. But it's more than just the pounds packed - it's about creating a hunger-free Iowa, one box at a time.
Our coordinators work tirelessly to build a volunteer community founded on camaraderie and appreciation. Getting to know each volunteer, learning their stories, and celebrating their achievements builds a profound sense of purpose.
