You were piecing him up on the feet and if it were an even playing field I think the fight would've played out differently. Kelvin wasn't trying to make a weight at all. He looked big, heavy and so strong during the fight.

I blame the system being so easy for a guy like Kelvin to exploit. It's f**ked.
It's time for Kelvin to be told to go up in weight or quit the sport because he is NEVER in shape, never planned to make weight, and he knew D-Rod is a real one who won't pull out of a fight.
These guys would rather miss weight, take a pay cut but win the fight. That's broken.
The UFC should make this right and not punish D-Rod for losing this fight when the deck was so stacked against him. Seems corrupt to me.
Just went back and re watched the fight and still think Drod sould’ve won… KG didn’t do shit w those takedowns and only really landed winging power shots on the feet. Drod ate all his biggest punches and keep moving forward and walking him down. Sure he was a little bloody and Kelvin did his share of walking Drod against the cage. But Drod stayed right in the pocket and firing shot back and initiated a scrap. He also stayed quick and w his jab and had solid head movement the whole fight. Drod would’ve definitely finished his ass if they fought at the agreed upon weight class.

Bro, you did what you needed to do to save the fight. Dana has shown to notice stuff like that and appreciate fighters who step up. I'm sure the brass will remember that when it comes down to negociate something in the future. It worked for Kevin Holland, Cowboy, Bisping and others.
