Came across your videos as i'm taking notes everywhere i can because i'm about to start learning to ride thru a motorcycle school. While i appreciate all the good advises i hear left and right, i must say that i'm also a bit surprised and even shocked to see how unsafe you can be !! No doubt you know your stuff, but not making a complete stop + looking left-right-left before going thru looks reckless to me... not to mention, splitting lanes and riding on the dotted lines between cars !!! OMG. Apparently legal in California but certainly not where i live. To me, the worst part was ridding between parked cars and moving cars. Someone could open his door and you would go flying. Hope it never happens to you man!! Seen some people ridding bicycles go over a car door and it's not a pretty sight. Anyhow... thanks for the good tips and..... be safe.

I had my own group of riders. Called us the "Collective" mostly old guys like me but a few younger riders. We had lots of experience. We were fast but safe. Coming to Tucson I left my Collective back in New England. I do have Mikey in Long Beach. He very track and street experienced. Me with litte track experience and Junior, pretty much a newbie. But I'm teaching him he's 22. I bought him the 2023 Trident. If/when I have company it'll be 4 of us, including you.

Just got a used ninja ( opportunity came up) , new rider signing up for classes and I’m experiencing new rider fear. This makes sense , so much I don’t know . Trying to do it right. Researching good Crash protectors and gear now.
Definitely like the idea to do a track day, working the bike without cars around and pros to help me learn right. I will definitely look at that on my local scene.

Right on.. looks like you're on the right path. Courses and track days are where it's at. Don't feel like you need to be an expert or "know something" before you hit the track. Opt for an instructor while you're there and you'll come back home better than you left. Good luck!
