I really appreciate this recipe and your sense of humor. My silly-stupid neighbor cut the privacy hedges in half that divided our back yards the other day, so instead of grilling tomorrow, I decided to try this recipe! Yours look perfect so I'm looking forward to trying this method. I'm afraid if I grill and that dope comes outside, I will ruin both of our Sundays. So thank you for this recipe and potentially saving my neighbors life! lol 😆
I left it on the default broil temp (500). I used thick cuts of meat, so I went about 4 mins on each side, but you'll have to keep an eye on it to make sure you don't overcook if they are thinner than mine.
You did a wonderful job schooling us! Tonight will be my first time and I’m hoping it turns out right. I didn’t even know you had to wet the screwers (may have spelled that wrong). I don’t have 3 hours to marinate but we’ll see how it goes anyway! Thanks.
No problem! Thanks for watching and let me know how it comes out. The skewer soaking is just to try to keep them from burning off. You can wrap them in a little foil also.
@@JoesPhenomenal man they turned out great! I was nervous about the cut of steak not being tender but it was just right. I used ribeye. The skewers did not burn either when I soaked them. The kids enjoyed the fun finger food again thanks! Next I’ll try the chicken.
If you are broiling, it should only take around 5 mins on each side. Depends on the thickness of the meat and there is some variation between ovens as well... but you can always cut into one of the thicker pieces to be sure, or use a meat thermometer on it as well... anything over 165 degrees in the middle is gonna be plenty, depending on how you like your meat cooked.. I personally like poultry a little over done... just had undercooked chicken one too many times. lol. I'm sure they will be fantastic!
Sure... we used the broil function at the default temperature. On our range, that's 550 degrees. The amount of time between flips will depend on how thick your meat is and what temperature your broiler runs at... In our case, we left them in there for 4-5 minutes between each flip, so 16-20 minutes total. Hope that helps.
I just used the broil setting on the oven at the default temperature on the second from the top shelf. I believe that runs it at about 500 degrees. It might vary a little with different ovens though, so keep an eye on your meat.
Depends on the thickness of the meat and your oven. I used the default temp on the broil function of the oven which is 500 on most ovens with roughly 5 mins on each side.
@Cutiepie_8062 just answered that on a different comment. I did the default temp on the broiler in my oven which was 500 and about 5 mins on each side. Depends on your oven and the thickness of your meat though.
It depends on how thick you cut the meat, how much you want it cooked, and how close the broiler shelf in your oven sits to the heating element. But on average, it's between 3-4 minutes per flip if you're cooking to around a med-well.
I used the default temperature on the broiler function of the oven and put them on the top shelf. You can use the second shelf also if you oven has that top shelf set ready close to the heating element. Some of them might that space too tight for whatever reason. Then I let it broil for roughly 5 minutes between turns and flips, so about 20 minutes total. That time will depend on your oven a little though, so you need to keep an eye on it to make sure it isn't burning on ya.
Great info to learn from, but the cross-contamination was egregious. Any unused vegetables after touching the meat became contaminated (e.g. red onions, etc.) and it's certainly never a good idea for a person to wipe their hands with a towel after touching raw meat (doubt they have a sanitizing bucket nearby). What happens when someone else unknowingly uses the same towel to dry dishes? (which is also a no-no) I was always taught that after touching raw meat, to treat your hands as if they are covered in wet paint...proper handwashing with anti-bacterial soap is the only solution.
Yep...i agree on the handwashing... Probably did that 10 times and when through as many towels. Try to use em and dump em. I didn't keep any leftover produce either. Also, I do all the vegetable prep ahead of time and just stick em in little bowls so I don't risk that as much. Great observations, though! ... Edited all that kind of stuff out trying to get the video shorter.

Lol... Thanks! I had to stop putting a lot of them in the newer videos due to copyright issues, but I'm trying to make up for it in other ways.
Loved this video. Thanks so much. 🙂

How many minutes until is fully cooked? And how many minutes in between to turn them? I hope mine are as delicious as yours. Thanks.

Hi could you please tell me about the temp and timing more?

I love kabobs served on jasmine rice with a little stir-fry sauce on top or even duck sauce is good!
You had me at jasmine rice! Love that whole idea, actually.
Good looking...how much time total???...❤ (It would be better if yhe ingredients were in pieces instead of oz, No scale)
Thanks.. For me I took about 6 mins on each side. Depends on your oven and how thick the meat is also though.
Yeah, what temperature did you cook a map that would be nice to know
I just used the broil setting on the oven at the default temperature on the second from the top shelf. I believe that runs it at about 500 degrees. It might vary a little with different ovens though, so keep an eye on your meat.
What cut of beef is it? I definitely want to try these.
I used chopped up Sirloin, but filet works great on these, and even the stew meat that they sell at the grocery pre-cut works great, too.
How about temperature and timing in the oven????
That's why I wanted to watch this video and he NEVER SAYS! LIKE wth. Lol

Making me hungry.
I Know! ate 2 of those during the video recording... including the one I dropped.
Thanks!
Yw!
How about the same with large shrimp
That would be great.... You'd have to scale the time back a bit though.
Nicely created ❤😂
Thanks! 😊
Is the broil on low medium or high?
I had mine on high, but if you have thicker cuts, you can put it on low to make sure it cooks through without burning.
Ok thanks
What’s the temperature and time?
