Im civil engineer from Peru, here we use Saaty, for multicriteria Analysis, and then we take this results to arcgis for making maps, but what you do seems to be more quickly. congrats
Thank U so much for showing all details. May I know how the data(different classes range) of the flood causative criterion come? I have a similar project.
Thanks for your great effort.....Really it is an interesting and helpful tutorial for me. I am doing my thesis on identifying flood prone areas in the urban side but it is difficult to get datas related to some factors such as drainage and soil type. How can i get such types of data?
Hello, thank you for this video. I’m currently working on a project like this but I have this challenge- I classified a layer into 5 classes but when I want to reclassify, its in 8 classes instead of the 5
Thank you for this lovely video and wonderful job. its highly appreciated. Please i need a video or procedure on how to carry out a sensitivity analysis for this same type of work ( flood risk mapping using AHP. ).
Thanks for the video. It is rewarding. I have a question. What should be the maximum factors in determining flood susceptibility. And please share with me a copy of the excel sheet indicating the criteria you used and the AHA spreadsheet.
Many thanks teacher for the create video, and I hope you to explain more how to group data and analysis for Map of drought in agriculture sector vulnerability. Thanks you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️
sir..thanks a lot, your video are really helpful😍😍😍..and i required to know is there any reference paper to support the pairwise comparative matrix valuing. Because i have a doubt is it subjective to user or expert opinion is required for pairwise comparative matrix weightage.
Thank you so much. You have been very helpful in my thesis. I will forever be grateful to you. Can you also do carbon sequestration in cities? In GIS? I am aware that it's available in Invest software. Even that is bit unclear. Will be very useful if this was included. 🙏
Hello, Thanks for this video, I got a question: You mentioned that we have to have exactly 5 class in each map (e.g. rainfall, ndvi, etc.). However, my LULC map has more than 5 classes. I'm wondering if you could help me out here. What should I do to handle this problem???
i just want to know that the weight value you calculated in excel sheet but you entered the values from word files so the weight value will be diffrent for everyone or we can use the same values from your word document in your video ?
Shukriya sir! I also would like to know if you could share with me the document and if there is a scientific paper about it to cite it. Or, how would you recommend I cite it? It is for my thesis. Thank you.
Great video, can you make a video on AUC technique. How to do that in excel or in any software? Because without AUC it’s tough to validate. Again amazing lecture.
@@GISRSSolution AUC is area under curve technique, in research papers after applying AHP, we have to use area under curve method and receiver operating characteristics to validate the results. Many research papers have used that to validate the results. If you know then please make a video, or just tell how to validate the results.
Dear, thank you for your interesting video. Can you please share with me how to VALIDATE flood susceptibility map by using AUC(Area Under Curve) and ROC?
