Ryan's voice is so soothing that I always fall asleep by the time the tornado blows my roof off. It's happened twice now.
Fr 😭😭
😂
😂😂😂
Is that a bad thing or a good thing?
@@MeteorologistNathan If you like a new roof once u get the insurance check I guess. The mess is a bad thing
Thanks, RYAN, ANDY, and ALL the CHASERS and the ENTIRE Y'ALL TEAM for all you do.😢
And thanks to BRET ADAIR, the TORNADO WHISPERER, for CHASING with the BEST TEAM in the USA!
Nocturnal , daytime...atleast we know what's ahead.
i’m really sick and tired of these tornadic storms being nocturnal. i’m trying to sleep but no i gotta stay up and keep an eye on the news and ryan’s live stream
Pray it goes a different direction. God will hear you!
I tried praying for weather once but I'm not sure my ballot got counted.
Well, you could go to bed and wake up in a tree😅
@@fstblk5 lol, tree jam? lol

The more I watch your videos the less and less my storm anxiety affects me. Living the don’t be scared be prepared motto
Same here, and since introducing my mom to his videos it’s helped her too (She went through the tornado outbreak of ‘85 that had one hit PA and my family all have photos of it and the damages and stuff).
Same! He’s so much more informative than the news! I’ve also learned so much about storms too
Me too
My husband is a trucker and has a load scheduled to pick up Monday in NC going to TX. This helps SO much for folks like him to know which to go ..what we call the "top"(I-40) or the "bottom" (I-20 or I-10)!! Thanks Ryan
👍 Stay safe. Y'all's the best. 🤠🖖♨️
haha that's great jargon
Same. I'm headed that way from WV Monday evening. This is useful!
Absolutely! When I rode with hubs I kept plugged in to this channel after enduring a rough storm that was shaking our truck all night. Terrified me and I don't usually get scared. Stay safe
@@maryconder7100 I SO understand that!! I used to drive as well and man there's times I think being a trucker's wife is WAY harder than being a trucker ever was because I know exactly what and where when these storms start. Thankfully hubs keeps Ryan on as well!! Prayers for you and your driver that everyone is safe🙏❤️🙏
All this man wants to do is save life's no matter what business he is running, been following Ryan for almost a decade and he has never changed!
Chasing clouds no matter what business 😂❤🌬️💨
@@cotyhamilton8624 yes sir 😂
I'd rather watch Andy over nww116 on UA-cam. He never sleeps, and he's reported a ton more tornados and severe weather than Ryan. Ryan seems to have scaled back on his reporting.
@@kevinmalda3182Ryan doesn’t just report tornadoes and severe weather, he goes live a LOT during severe weather
In case some don't know....
Tornadoes at night are more dangerous than those during the day because they are more difficult to spot and people are less aware of them. Here are some reasons why:
Visibility: Tornadoes are usually not visible in the dark unless lightning is present.
Storm spotters: Fewer people are willing to chase storms at night, making it harder for meteorologists to confirm tornadoes on the ground.
People asleep: Many people are at home and unaware of an approaching tornado.
It doesn't mean tornadoes are "more dangerous" at night. Just means people may respond differently.
They are not stronger. However, when we say "dangerous" we are vegetal talking about danger to people. So nocturnal tornadoes are not stronger, but they are potentially more dangerous.
I have vague memories of the TV weatherman standing in front of a felt board with felt sun, wind, clouds, etc as he gave the forecast for the upcoming weather. Decades later I'm listening to some guy talking on my phone about the upcoming weather. How things have changed.
SO appreciate your focus on informing us without undue drama. Makes me reasonably watchful but if you say "OMG" I know you. mean it. Very grateful for this resource - plus just fascinated by weather since I was a little girl on a farm in Kansas.
Don’t be scared, be prepared!
should be Don’t be scared, be prepared! we got the toilet papper
I'm prepared but I had a tornado go directly over my house in the 90's. Touched down at the end of the street and did a lot of damage. I try not to be anxious but it's very hard. I don't have a basement which doesn't help matters.
I worry a lot to during these situations I live in an old 1860s farmhouse and can see for miles up on top of a hill we have a basement and another basement next to our basement 😂😂 I know kinda weird but I don't think this house could handle too much
FAITH OVER FEAR
Even if you're prepared, a tornado can undo everything.
Thanks Ryan. Weird weather this spring. I'm in CA high desert. It was so hot last 3 days I had to hook up my swamp cooler. Now today we're back down to 43 degrees and I'm closing the swamp cooler down and cranking up the heat again 😮⛈️☔️
😮
Michigan here where we're anticipating a high of 60. 75 tomorrow, in Michigan, in April! We hit the 70s last week too! My daffodils are in full bloom, and the grass needs to be mowed. Feels like the end of May half the week, the other half still grabbing a coat going out the door. Weird indeed.
In Texas, we'll go from highs of 80+ to 50s, back up to 80s, multiple times in a week sometimes. It's pretty crazy.
Minnesota hitting the 80s today crazy!
I’m from the CA high desert. Just moved to Central Kentucky. A whole new weather world here 😅
My son lives in Wichita Falls and I'm in St. Louis, so I'll be watching this one carefully for both of us. Thanks for the update.
It's Missouri you can never know what this bipolar weather wants to do
I'm in Wichita Falls as well. I'm working on twister gear today. Got storm cellar cleaned out yesterday
In southwest Missouri here. Had an exciting night a couple of weeks ago with back to back tornado sirens going and severe storms until 3 in the morning. Bought a house with a great storm shelter in the basement when we moved here 2 1/2 years ago. 10" thick concrete all around and it's tucked under the long front porch.👍🙏
St. Louis here too. I can’t handle any more hail 😔
West Plains, MO here. When we moved here 4 years ago from St. Louis, we ended up buying a house that doesn't have a basement. Thus, one of the first things I did was have a safe room installed in our garage. And it's by Survive-a-Storm, too -- and that was over a year before I had ever heard of Ryan Hall, whom I discovered the night of the Mayfield tornado.
“There’s Nader juice out there y’all”
Like those satellite videos showing the weather systems.
Agreed
Don’t forget the flooding already taking place in Southern Arkansas. The Ouachita Riveris due to peak Monday morning, it’s already above flood stage now…
as an alabamian i breath a sigh of relief seeing wednesday being pretty gentle. prayers for everyone who will be affected by this storm system🫶
Thank you for the update!! Ever since I heard Monday could be a big day in Western OK where I live, I’ve been refreshin’ your channel waiting for your forecast!
High today is 80F in western Minnesota- that is unheard of for April!
Almost 90 in Iowa. 😖 Not good.
It’s 80 in Memphis today as well. In past few years we have wild fluctuations back and forth. Summer one day, chilly Spring the next. Have to check temps in the am if you are going somewhere so you know how to dress!😝
We hit 83 in the south MSP metro today! Just crazy
If we watch the solar activity of the sun it explains why these last three years winter has shifted by like three months. Not to mention more storms. And now 10 plus volcanos have been erupting thus last week. Plus earthquakes in new York and other uncommon regions. Stay vigilant people.
23 with wind-chill in WNY😮😮 50mph gusts
Yes, this is what we get in SD. Its very scary especially when the power goes out and its pitch black, can't see anything coming at you. All you can do is pray.
No All you can do, it is the Most Important thing to do. Remember how He calmed the wind and waves! Amen 🙏
Thank you Ryan! Stay safe everyone!
✨💙✨
Thank u for not dumbing it down to saying it should be this temp and should rain at this time love the way u do the show
Same, I feel like I learn from them
Ryan, According to Radar Omega, Enhanced risk, 2% tornado risk, 15% high wind risk tomorrow in Harrisburg, Pa. I am ready for anything not scared but prepared!
Living in central Oklahoma I pay attention to weather. Thank you Ryan and team for the great coverage. Please do NOT send Brad Arnold to Yukon, Oklahoma. 😅😅
you got a shelter?
@@blblawhoo4338 NO, live in apartment. I do have interior closet stocked and ready.
My reaction at 2:46
Cj: Ah sh_t here we go again!
To clarify, I used to live in Oklahoma. I'm used to severe weather I'm just getting tired of it. It's just inconvenience to me anymore. I'm not afraid.
Thanks for the update as always, Ryan. You are the best!
Thanks for the update as always, Ryan. You are the best
I am a god
@@OuachitaMtnno you are not
Thanks Ryan & Weather House Squad!
Living in the middle of Missouri, almost all these storms have just passed us by. Its a pretty Spring but im worried without more rain we'll have another drought.
Its so weird how the rain clouds just pass us
You should do a video on the fact West Virginia had 17 confirmed tornados last week when the previous record was 15 in a year in 1998
Got my lawnchair and cooler ready for the show. In all seriousness, I do hope all of you stay safe and well.
Not gonna lie, I freaked out a bit when you lost your internet in the middle of the last severe weather knowing it was coming at me and no Ryan to "virtually hold my hand" There was a brief blip about SC just before you dropped so when it hit I said WWRD(what would Ryan do) I was weather alert & prepared, not scared, so Thank you!!
Oh yay, I have to drive from Oklahoma to Las Vegas right when that storm is at it's worst. I'll be careful.
Monday might feel nice in Texas and I'm all for it to stay in the 60s and 70s with low humidity. The cooler the better!
Meanwhile up north in the Midwest we are reaching the high 70s and even the 80s
Central Arkansas here. Thanks man. 👍👍❤️
We just spent the 5th full day cleaning up our yard and sawing and hauling off trees from the tornado 4/2 in SW Indiana, and we’re still not done. If we have another bad storm and more trees fall, they will stay where they fall. We are grateful our home didn’t have much damage, and nobody was injured or killed.
Yep, my parents just got their back porch redone after a a couple trees fell on it….it always makes me nervous, but at least we have our own alert system and a working siren in town now, I’m in north central in
@@natalieeubank4533 we have sirens, but aren’t close enough to them to hear unless we’re outside. This tornado came at 6 AM, if my husband hadn’t called me on his way to work to tell me it was getting bad, I wouldn’t have known. Apparently the tornado’s kind of materialized near our house, not much time to warn. I got a weather warning on my phone about 4 minutes before it hit, I was already up dressed and had shoes on thanks to my husband.
@@abunchahooey yep, sounds like it’s time to get yourselves a midland weather radio
@@natalieeubank4533 yep, we have one. Like I said, the tornado materialized within 1/4 mile of our house, and that’s why the alert came so late.
Been waiting for your update! Thank you, Ryan!
Thanks, Ryan. Will keep an eye out.
We could use flooding in the Heartland. Constant fire watches and drought... Not good for the farming. 🥺
I hope things improve soon in your area.
Farms having issues leads to shortages and higher prices as an after effects. People need to take climate change and cooperate price gouging seriously
Well not flooding. A couple days of good soaking rain would be much better.
Pray pray pray for rain, with as many people as possible.
@@1packatak To think in April, 5 years ago, we were flooded so bad the Cajun Navy was here. Now we're the dust bowl.
A couple days soak would be nice but it wouldn't be enough. 🥺
Thank you for all you do
Hey, brother. 🤗
Thanks again for all your hard work, including the team. You're a blessing to so many. ✨ ❤️
Jo in Pure Michigan 🌊
Can I just say as someone who works outdoors and on rooftops in the city this channel is an invaluable tool to plan my weeks
THANKS RYAN
Thank you Ryan for always keeping us aware of the weather so we can be prepared! You are the BEST!! God bless!! From central/just south of Dallas, Texas❤️🤠❤
Thank you for this report. NO ONE is forcasting for Pennsylvania right now and it is increasingly tornadic
Thank you, you're the best!!! Me and my brother love watching your weather updates etc💛✨🙌🏾🙌🏾🌹🌻🙏🏾🙏🏾
Very professional job, with a witty and humorous dialogue and useful information.
Hello Ryan! It’s been raining everyday in Southern Indiana since the eclipse! Just now starting to see the sun! Cool in low 40’s at night to the 50’s during the day! Tuesday’s weather will in my pathway of the storms in Southern Indiana! Thanks for keeping us updated!😊 I like to be prepared!
It's tornado awareness week in Wisconsin & and I've never been more prepared & not scared! 🌪⛈️😊
Thank you Ryan!🥰
I have 2 daughters, one near South Bend, Indiana and the other one east of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. I'm on the border of AR and OK.
So I really need Ryan's forecasts and live storm coverage. They're 50+ years old, and still want dad to keep their butts safe. 😁
Ive read this Tuesday (tomorrow since it's 4 am Monday for me) is going to have nasty storms. My anxiety is high, but this entertainment is helping me learn and being prepared.
I hate all the bad weather 😢
Thank you, Ryan, for the great forecast. Much better than local .
It's spring. It happens every year, but now we have Ryan to warn us before disaster strikes.
I am terrified Ryan me and my boyfriend or our families have a storm shelter to go to. I don't want us to die in a tornado. It is one of my worst nightmares
My mother was extremely scared of tornados also. If you have a storm shelter to go to you and your family will be ok. Ryan will let us know tomorrow if it's going to get bad or not. Like he always says, "don't be scared, be prepared". Sounds like if it does get rowdy, yall will be ok with that storm shelter!! Thankful yall have one! Our neighbor has two, he has told us to come get in one if weather gets bad. I am very thankful we have one to go to. God bless!
If you have a storm shelter you are ok and better off than some people
@@donnaleighjenkins4952 what I meant is we don't have one to go to.....
It isn't very likely you'll die in a tornado. You could get a helmet and at least your head is protected.
@@Red-yz6fl I pray not but freak accidents do happen.... And they are happening more and more in my area cause of climate change
Funny, i remember, about 2 weeks ago, everyone saying how rare it is for the SPC to issue such confident predictions this far out. I feel like they done just that about 3 times in the past 2-3 weeks.
Storm shelter ready!!!
What happened on Thursday, 04/11/24, after Ryan said, “we have catastrophic “- the video went out & nothing more was heard from you till this post. I took my iPad into the basement, under tornado warning in Carroll county Va, between 7 & 9 pm, but lost coverage from my trusted Y’all squad.
Love your content!
Thank you Ryan.
Well we've already got the wind in South central Pennsylvania already.
Thank you ryan for everything you do i am in rome italy for a whole week but will be tuning in while i am there
great transition in to ad! I love it!
Your the best, Ryan!!!
Thank you for explaining the forcasts so we can all understand whats happening in our weather
I'm in Augusta, GA. No tornadoes, but I sure would like some cool air.
I am also in Augusta and I agree with you. I want cool air.
I'm in Arkansas, but my mother is in Augusta!@@stephanieinglett8569
I live in a camper 😅 I'm screwed in a tornado or deracho comes through. No safe place, no where to run to. And no neighbors with safer situations 😅
Good stuff!
Not a lot of heavy wind where I'm at in northeast Pennsylvania but there was a crazy amount of lightning.
Thanks buddy.
Than you for what you do
Thanks Ryan for the update
Thanks for being easier to understand than Reed Timmer's explanations. I love Reed's work, but he seems to forget that the average person doesn't understand the technical jargon.
Thanks Ryan.
6:12 I also hope to have a big time movement late in the evening and early in the morning on Tuesday
The last storm moved so slow I thought the radar wasn’t going.
You know not long ago we didn’t have radar in our pockets. Storm caught us off guard
You should mention the warmth of the soil. When the rain moves the heat down past 6 inch line and it hits 64 degrees the cicadas will come out. This will be a big deal for people from Chicago to Nashville.
Thank you Ryan!
Great presentation, Ryan. Perhaps make a weather teaching channel? You convey complex information in an understandable way!!!
Thanks Ryan!

Not bad.
North Central Texas out of this Storm path ....
Thanks for the good information
This is extremely bad, appreciate all the updates for the Ryan hall y’all channel, and a multi day severe weather event is about to come
Thank you !!!
Thanks Ryan❤
The last moderate risk petered out over Oklahoma. Are there other features that you can foresee that would dampen the risk? "Be prepared." We are, but it's frustrating when other factors appear that affect the forecast that aren't communicated.
Prolific lol 😆 Reed loves that word. Ahah , jk, thanks, Ryan!
I've been watching these radars for a few years now and it is just absolutely insane how they display so much info for many places and interactions throughout time
Ryan,you rock! Peace
Thanks Ryan, I appreciate your hard work…you are much better than my local weather person
🇨🇦it was so windy Friday night here in London Ontario thanks for the warning
Ryan at Tuesday 2AM: still live streaming. Confirmed tornado warning!
We've had 7 inches of rain in April in Western PA. Enough already!
I am totally okay with cooler temps after the last 3 days being 90 and above here in my little spot in ks
thx Ry!!
My darn pear trees are gonna get wrecked yet again. 3 years in a row. It was 80 today in Northern front range colorsdo. Your weather is usualy pretty darn good. Thanks for reading the various forecasts and putting this togather. Way better than any news/weather hacks. You are pro. Keep it up.
Thanks a ton for what you do man, you're the main reason I bought a weather radio to begin with. Hopefully wednesday isn't too active tho, I got things I gotta do lol
I live in OKC. I will be Weather Aware!
With this Winter and the pineapple express, there should be some good gold prospecting out west.
