    Passive income ang better retirement fund. Like room rentals/apartments., plan ko sa probinsya mag retire para ang hobby ko magtanim para from farm to table..

    Better to have passive income. At Least, my back up if anything goes wrong sa finances. We can set an amount for retirement. Pero dapat may passive income like rental. At mga property na in case na need for long term expenses for health and inflation.

    tapos lagay mo yung 6million sa conservative na investment (6%-10%). yung magiging profit non yearly pwede mo panggastos sa mga susunod na taon. buhay ka na hanggang pagtanda may pamana ka pa. haha

    80% lang po ba ng monthly expense talaga? Feeling for dapat 120% or more. Kahit di accounted for ung inflation, feeling ko ung boredom during retirement makes you spend. Kasi ung time na nasa work ka, dapat iallocate sa hobby pag retired na. And hobby is gastos. Di naman cguro magreretire at sa bahay ka lang. And alam naman natin bawat labas sa pilipinas, usually may gastos.

    • @ofwpower
      @ofwpower  2 роки тому +1

      I agree Evanine. Hindi rin ako ako masyadong agree sa 80%. I believe it was assumed lower coz some of the expenses like amortization or child education or loan payments are already paid off by retirement. Again these numbers are not cast in stone and are just guidance. So its good to know our own numbers and to your point, had to be adjusted for inflation. Good luck!👍

      Tama po very personal talaga. My dad is now retired, hardly any pension. Ako lahat and ung gastos ko per month sa kanya is more than his monthly income when he was working. For myself, i'm aiming 1m dollars for retirement. Kahit piliin ko sa Pinas mag retire, dapat accounted for ung medical bills and emergencies. Tapos dapat nasa investment ung pera para kumikita din to account for inflation. Kung maunahan ko man bago maubos, at least merong matitira for loved ones. Basta ang goal is di ka poproblemahin ng mga kapamilya mo when you get old.

    Hindi mo naman po magagastos ng buo sa isang taon ang 6.4M na target retirement fund. Kung ang 5M ay ipapasok mo sa PAGIBIG MP2 with an average annual rate of 6% meron kang inaasahan na 300K annual interest income. Yan annual interest income mo na 300K more than enough sa estimated yearly expense mo after retirement.. secured ang 5M mo sakop na rin ng 300K ang inflation rate..

Eto po ang pg aralan mo "kelangan me assest/investment k nang nag gegenerate ng income para sa monthly expense mo" " kc kung mg iipon k lng kakainin ng inflation ang savings mo at worthless na ang savings mo by the time n mg retire ka " financial freedom - cashflow - passive income = retirement.

    Why was the SSS monthly pension estimated only as P2,500? This is so small, especially if you are continuously working in a private company until your retirement. Also, why was the projected monthly expenses at the time of retirement multiplied by 80%. This makes the result smaller which is unrealistic?

    • @hokagecedric
      @hokagecedric 6 місяців тому

      i got the same question but he explain vividly that this is just a sample.... that amount of pension could be base on the result of total contribution of a particular member like members contributing voluntarily from rural areas, realistic pa rin sya na matatawag in a sense that most of the contribution from rural areas are contributing of at least 300 to 500 pesos on their monthly contribution, i had few known people living in the rural areas paying minimum amount for their monthly sss contribution
